They arrive in Australia on Wednesday morning and play Wednesday night. Surely they could've put the game on a Thursday or Friday and made it into a proper end of season trip where the group could enjoy a mini holiday in Australia as well? Last thing you need is a long term injury because they're not conditioned properly.

Will be my two kids first, I always promised them if we played in Sydney I would get tickets.
Even my Mrs (who supports another team in red from the other end of the East Lancs Road) will be going, and wearing a Liverpool top!

Shirts/kit - Do your self a favour and wait unitl March/April next year and order direct from the LFC store. With the end of seasons discount, and even with shipping added they are still way way cheaper than getting them from here.

Cost me $240 this year to get mine and the two kids shirts (with lettering and numbers and PL patches) direct from LFC store.
Sports Direct Australia wanted over $100 EACH with nothing on them.

I reckon this is the compromise between the suits wanting us to tour in Australia for commercial reasons and Klopp wanting to keep us in Europe for footballing reasons. This way the club get their money spinning friendly and Klopp gets a proper pre season with less travelling.

Chelsea did the same fixture when the season ended when they won the league with Maureen a couple of seasons ago.

Makes sense instead of doing it during pre season with all the travelling,plus the club is getting a nice financial incentive for it.
