I don't mind taking parcels round for the neighbours on occasion, gets the packages out of my fucking hallway anyway ;D sometimes they return the favour. Doesn't bother me either way. Not that I'm great mates with the neighbours or anything.

Always go and collect mine asap. If nobody comes to collect theirs I'd try to take it round, maybe they didn't get a card or the postie put the wrong number on it.

I had a package delivered to my neighbour this week. The delivery company recorded it as being delivered to number 9. Problem is I live at number 9.... so I had no idea where they had actually delivered it. Luckily they came and dropped it off as I had no idea where to go pick it up.

House alarms - what one would you recommend? There are some you can buy online for under a £100 or there are companies that come to your house take a look and fit something for £700. Anyone use a the cheaper option that can provide feedback on how their alarm is performing?

Before I look on Google...

Does anyone use a programme where you can input various different box sizes/quantities and it gives you the most efficient way to pack them on a pallet?

Got 5 different box sizes of various quantities I need to send across various pallets and would be easier if there was a way to work out the best way to pack it.

I have my pre consultation today before being sent off to have my wisdom teeth taken out, on a separate appointment to be arranged.

Does anyone know how long these consultations last? They say they can last up to 3 hours.

Mind you, mine is at 6.45pm at my local GP in the oral section.

I really hope it isn't 3 hours as I work 6 days a week finishing late, and today is my only early finish.

A family member has somehow got themselves scammed over the phone, thinking they were onto their bank. Must have given their account details or card number out and been rinsed.

Is there a way they can claim that back somehow or would the bank say it’s their fault? I know you can try the likes of the FSCS but from what I can read that seems to be when the bank/financial institution you’re with collapses or is at fault for something.

Never had one, but they're probably going to prod your teeth a bit and take some x-rays. Can't see it take longer than 15 minutes. Maybe the 3 hours include typical waiting times?

They should be able to. Any unauthorised purchases can be claimed back and money taken from the account I would think was theft/fraud. People get scammed, that Barclays ad showed how easy it is.

I know, very surprised they fell for it, thought people were more aware these days but I’m obviously not going to be pointing that out! Suppose they just go through their bank first of all and turn to the likes of the FSCS if they get nowhere. Ta.

What does an SA302 look like these days?

We've had a few sent to us recently, but they're different to what we would normally receive. Seem to be only 2 pages now? The few I've seen start on page 3 and end on page 4. Where has 1 and 2 went? Have HMRC changed them?

Thanks mate, apologies for my late response.

Yes it only took half an hour and I was waiting about 15 minutes. I guess the 3 hour line was to account for waiting times.

He's deffo a racist prick and an idiot so don't worry, you don't have to watch his videos. Can hardly be an anti-corporate while living off YouTube, seeing as its owned by Google and he is one of their biggest draws. Corporate shill and anti-semite.

Who/what is Gerry Cinnamon and why are so many people talking about it?

Gerry cinnamon is a singer songwriter from Glasgow. He’s a bit of a cult hero as he’s doing it his own way without a record label etc. Hes also doing a lot to bin off touting from his gigs.

He’s had a couple of hits his main one being “Belter”. Jamie Webster covers a few of Gerry’s hits a reason his name is growing locally with our fans I guess

I like his stuff but am way too old for it! Love to go to one of his gigs but only if I can sit in a nice corner and watch (think I’m at that crossroads in life ;D )

Although I remember following The Guardian live feed at the time, but I remember FSG takeover being completed by 4pm on that Friday.

How many hours were we from administration and the deducted points? Was it the following midnight? So like 8 hours?

Being top of the league and on the back of a Champions League Final, it got me wondering in terms of perspective.

I'm trying to gain some perspective

Is there a correct term for those kind of people that use social media to gain sympathy?

I was having a conversation with someone today and we were trying to think if there was an actually name for it.

I was thinking about posts like 'shit day, not sure what I can do..' With no explanation of what the problem is, usually followed by 'you ok hun?' or some shite like that.

It doesn't happen on here very often, although there are the usual posters that you see it from.

Any ideas?

It can be a manifestation of a form of narcism, Attention seeking, or even in extreme cases, Munchausen by Internet.

As it suggests, a strategy for dealing with it is planned ignoring.

That's a shame - I recall watching that on a number of occasions, and I've referred to it in many a conversations since.

It was Jim White, Matthew Syed, and Tony Cascarino in the studio.  Syed gave an articulate, cricital appraisal of Abramovich's background only for White to exclaim (paraphrasing here, despite the quotations): "Why should they care?  Why should the fans care where the money's come from if they're winning?".

White represented so much of what's wrong with the game/world.

Why can't you submerge a flask?

https://physics.info/buoyancy/summary.shtml

The ease with which you can submerge it depends on the volume/density of the flask and its contents in relation to the displacement volume/density of whatever fluid you are trying to submerge it in.
