...knowing how houllier likes to make sure all players are signed up long before their contracts expire, it seems odd berger still hasn't signed one. maybe they were simply waiting for him to get over his injury, but then again, could he be on his way out?

sorry to be a rumour-mongerer (i think that is a word!), but i think it may be best if he does look elsewhere. i do rate him as an attacking player, but defensively he is shocking (tho' not from lack of effort), and he may have to make way if a left winger is signed.
