Difficult to explain how that can't be a penalty under the current rules.

Thing is if the same officiating team don't give that as a penalty all season I've absolutely no problem with it. Every refs different, I expect and understand that now

But I know for a fact that would be a penalty v us with this man in charge. Esp if 1-2 last minute

I've seen enough of him to know there's an issue with him

Yep it's another example of what VAR is there for. Crowded penalty area, so zero chance the referee sees it in normal time, meaning it's absolutely no slight on him if he has to change his decision. But even this is beyond these incompetent fools.

Shouldn't need to, bloke in var box should be competent enough to make the decision unilaterally.

These two clips sum the c*nt up, I've no problem with the one against Chelsea being a pen but you can't give one and not the other

I believe he started when our kids beat Everton courtesy of that Curtis Jones screamer?

I just saw one of their fans saying it’s only because eight of their players are out injured. But then you delve into them players and there’s two that they’ve been openly looking to flog (Gomes and Gray, quite literally with Gray too with the Saudi transfer), which where it not for his issues that would be three as they simply can’t afford Alli to play games, another is a loan signing that they knowingly bought injured (Harrison), there’s a kid that so far has looked out of his depth (Dobbin), two massively injury prone players (Coleman and Calvert-Lewin) and Michael Keane.
AHA!

Keane and Dobbin played midweek. Neither are listed as injured. Dobbin was subbed at HT against Doncaster, but that looked to be tactical. Strange.

Luton will go down, think it will be two from Everton, Burnley, Wolves and Sheffield United with them.

This looks a massive game already, the atmosphere around Everton is absolutely toxic and a defeat here after the window they've had would be devastating. Their best hope is that Beto can hit the ground running, Calvert-Lewin won't stay fit and no else is scoring enough goals for them in this team.

Early yellow for Brathwaite, I presume for the follow through, as he did get the ball first!

Sheff Utd woken up a bit now, they where half asleep for the first 5 mins.

Hamer is one to watch from the lower sides this season, all action box-to-box, wicked delivery from a corner and contributes a lot of G+A. Was unbelievable for Coventry last season and one of the main reasons they managed to get into the play offs.
