Favourite Christmas films
« on: December 15, 2009, 02:27:26 am »
I'm watching 'It's a Wonderful Life' at the moment, and it's a truly great.

I'm also partial to 'Bad Santa'. "You won't shit right for a week."
Anyone else being strangely drawn to Dion Dublin's nipples?

Brilliant film, it's on at the Philharmonic this week.

The film wasn't a big success when it was released, despite the box office attraction that James Stewart was at the time.

Watched Elf the other day with the kids, probably my favourite modern day Christmas film.

Elf is pretty funny, the bit when the taxi hits him always has me in stitches.

Miracle on 34th Street is one of my favourites and you can't go wrong with Home Alone 1 and 2.

Watched The Grinch last night after avoiding it for years and really enjoyed it.  I'm not the biggest Carrey fan but thought he was great in this.

First time this year i've settled on the couch with my feet up and watched a christmas movie. Must do it more often ;D

Weirdo.

You saw the soldiers sitting in their ditches in Bastogne, with all the snow around them and thought 'this is a really christmasy show'

No one said anything about my Hugh grant comment? I was hoping I would freak out at least one of you

Okay, so Joyeux Noel is a christmas movie set in world war 1 but I still don't see the Band of brothers relation to christmas

Well, is not related to Christmas at all, I just watch it during this season... Not all the movies I watch in Christmas are Christmas related...
Even tho, war movies put a lot of things in perspective... What's good or wrong with this world, human beings always end up fighting for peace.
