It's all very well saying
"Support the team as we've always done, with flags and banners and wit and songs"
However, it's worth remembering that much of the customs that are now engrained in our 'culture' were once new, fresh and exciting and not a part of our 'tradition'.
Pryo is a manifestation of that - the new generation introducing something new and fresh into the mix.
Look at Rome 77 - Union Jacks were all over the place and they wouldn't be considered acceptable now. Who drove that change? It wasn't the same people that brought those flags to the Olimpico, it was a younger generation that rejected that iconography and associating it to Liverpool.
It's a force for change, whether you like it or not and it's absolutely the right of the youth to impose that change on our support, as it was for all the preceeding generations.
