Cheers, Ray (not *the* Ray Davies, I take it?  ;D  )

I'm not sure Cisse and Baros can play together, but working in training will help improve it. Will it be enough? Hard to say.

I try to look on the bright side, but I'll criticise what I don't like. If we're still playing like this in two years' time, I'll be far less forgiving. Thankfully, we won't be.

As for the book, not really possible while I'm ill. Nice to know I could sell at least one copy, though!  ;D

Well, Paul, for sure, many more than one copy, you’re a real star now in France on SoFoot.com, I tell you you have your fans   ;D

This article should be mandatory reading for those hysterical 'fans' have already decided that Benitez won't do the business for LFC.

Paul
thank you for taking the time to write these!
maybe you get yourself injured more often mate  ;)

anyway - I voiced in another post, how I felt we hadn't got going  yet, and you've written that far more eloquently and intelligently - great read.

I am a new user to this site and was really impressed with this article and the repost "Get me some perspective"

Agree with all the views on Rafa and the need to be patient. I think it will be interesting to see over the next few games what happens in midfield, please play Stevie G in centre mid and will SG DH & XA all start?
RAI TV Commentator May 2005 - "If Milan score in the first 20 minutes they will win!"  Yeah Right!

Cheers, Worgie. Not sure how the midfield will shape up, but there are lots of options. Good to see Gerrard say he'll play wherever he's asked.

Of course, thought he was equalising.

Poor memory on my part!

dug this one up as we are now 5 years into RB's tenure, GH always talked about a 5 year plan, which didn't work out so well. The OP makes some great reading and a stark reminder of what has been achieved over those years of hard graft - Robbie Savage, were we ever linked with him?
