I love the fact Kano only seems to do acting work for Top Boy.

I met him once when we were working at a festival where he was performing. He loved his weed back then. I was fucked.

Only slight annoyance is there’s only 6 episodes. Hope they don’t rush it, reviews have been good though.

He wasn’t famous back then. It was about 20 years ago just before his album I think. Nice guy though as were his mates.

Liking it so far, pieces are moving in place - looking forward to seeing how it ends. Quality has not dropped yet.

I am going to vomit my thoughts right now as to what could happen

Sully getting finished off by jamie's brother looks like what the show wants us to believe is going to happen...feels too obvious.
That Irish killing must come back to bite someone, maybe Sully? maybe Dushane?
Dushane must be going to prison- or will die.

It's over for those two Top Boys one way or another....made peace with it

Jaq has surprised me with her move -  have really liked this character from last season.
Emotional story this time for her but I guess her plan is to use the money from that to escape with her lady/kid? mad way of going about it...I'm sure there would have been other opportunities without starting a war and causing more bloodshed

The underlying story of protests etc. and what Dushane said about it drawing attention of Feds sticks out in my mind right now. Something there
And that woman that ran off with Dushane's money, name escapes me right now has made a deal with someone - feds or Irish gangsters or something. Maybe the the fellas that got wiped out by Sully abroad

Agree with others. It’s was good but not great. Started well. They seemed to open up a few new threads but then these either ended quickly (the Irish) or went nowhere. Just a little disappointing for me

If they had just concentrated on Sully and Dushane, instead of the additional storylines involving Stef, Jaq, and including the weirdly brief role for Barry Keoghan (who I feel could have been a good addition, he has a good presence on screen), then maybe 6 episodes was enough. I agree, it felt contrived and also rushed.

I thought it was a good ending actually but it should have been a longer season. Sully had it coming but I didn't think Dushane would go out like that. Stef done it I think.

Worst season out of the 5 for me, like the Writers couldn't be arsed.

Don't know why they killed off the Irish guys, what a waste of using Barry Keoghan, his character and the angle with his gang had potential to do the full season about Sully v them, after that happened it went downhill fast, I couldn't wait for the finale to finish, a really weak season.

Agree with the point about the Irish, completely wasted plot right there. Had so much potential, just like Curtis from last season who was a fucking psycho and would've gave Sully/Dushane a run for their money.

Hard to tell who killed Sully. The person had some sort of yellow hat on which Stefan wasn't wearing. It could've been anyone, the Irish, the Spaniards, Si, Jaq, Scousers from last season. All I know is it definitely wasn't Kieron's mum!

Don't know why but Dushane's death was emotional for me. His final hours were at his mother's flat and I kept remembering her words from previous episodes. And of course flashbacks of Amma/Ats. Then he dies behind a big gate where no-one can find him, whimpering and crying. Sad way to go out.

Dushane just manically killing someone - fine - but then just leaving their body and all the evidence behind. It just goes against everything else that has happened in the show. Very contrived.

Similarly, the Irish guy just showing Sully where he hides his drugs, and then telling him exactly where and when he and his uncle will be together in a few days time.

Yeah Dushane just basically gave himself away the fucking idiot. Cleans up his kitchen nicely but can't even wipe your fingerprints?

That Shelley was a spoilt twat as well, running off when she didn't get the money from Dushane. The plot with the body from last season was very unrealistic

Watched 5 episodes now. Should really avoid this thread until after I’ve seen the last one. Seen some comments that it felt an episode or two light. Can understand that, feels like some stories have just been touched upon or could easily have been stretched out further. Still enjoying it though.

The storyline with her sister and how she saw the crackhead treating her child etc. was actually quite touching i thought.

The solution she came up with makes no sense whatsoever. She knows the game - knows the guys she was dealing with - and decided to put her nephew/other half on the run for life by doing that? Ridiculous.....really liked her character throughout but that didnt seem to fit

The other things that didn't make sense have been touched on by others and I agree with. Lazy writing? rushing to finish the show off? I dunno...a couple of these things you can forgive but not all imo. Its a shame, but it was a decent watch not a waste of time like GoT- not near the level of the other seasons

Final seasons i think are just mostly bad across most shows...a few get it right.

Should have been longer. Still enjoyed it though. But Barry keoghan was great. I don't think this is a spoiler but that little bit of dancing he does in the car was a great TV moment. That man is some actor. Would love a series about the Mcgee's.

it was the Irish that killed Sully. There was no personal element to it, which rules out Stef/ Kierons mum. That for me leaves Jaq and The Irish. What Sully was saying to his daughter makes me think he was suspicious, maybe someone was following him or he had heard rumours. Or even he had survived an attempt already from them.

Really wish there was more to the Lizzy storyline, and where Dushane's money went.

a bit rushed and maybe a cliche end with both dying. Would have liked DuShane’s story to be one of a man on the run who has people after him every turn for life. Leave him just stranded alone in Turkey but with still people chasing him from all sides. A life of paranoia awaiting.

Didn’t mind Sully’s end, had to be Jaqs? She said it wasn’t over, the outfit looked like one she would wear, it was clean so not someone new to shooting a gun.

Saw a clip on instagram with one of the directors, he says they filmed two endings. The first and the one they planned on using you see the killer. The 2nd was not planned but they filmed it and you don't see the killer. Anyway they liked the mystery in the 2nd and went with that. So on that basis there is film of the killer somewhere
