Have read the overnight pages and still can't believe that people think Gerrard should not have been red carded.......It was most definitely a red and the only thing I can think off that doesn't get him a red card is if the ball went in the same direction he was tackling from instead of squirting away upfield giving the impression that Carrick had won the ball and that Gerrard had caught him....other than that, it was a red card....

I'm pleased with the performance. We outplayed them before the red, and did not concede when down to 10. I don't want to see Poulson anywhere near the pitch on wednesday or Sunday. I'd prefer Maxi or Cole off Torres and retain the CM pair.

still raging with the penalty decision. The fact that the line-man who had a better view of it and didn't give it made the whole thing even more difficult to take. 

the red card was a right decision IMO and that was purely stupid on Gerrard behalf as he should know better.

overall, its alot better than most of the other games this season.

In Kenny We Trust, but i think the game on Wednesday will be the one that we can finally see if we have finally turn the corner or not, because players will always give extra for the big games.

After the match, Giggs admitted that he didn't see the Gerrard tackle but he was the one doing most mouthing at Webb after the tackle.........I'm not sure what he could have being saying if he admitted that he didn't see it........but that's Utd for you, hounding the ref even if they didn't see the incident.

I doubt they're alone in doing it, but they're certainly proficient in the act.
