I might try and get my oldest son (22) to have a listen to the Jeff Wayne 2lp set. Its well crafted as a free standing piece of music about a book. Edit: I'm also going to give Vienna Blood on BBC2 at 9 a go, trailer looks interesting, Freud and crime mystery in 1906 Vienna.

Whoo interesting I will look out for Freud. The French WOTW is OK, There's not too much French which is lucky as I've struggled to get subs. Found some English subs but they only work for the English speaking parts

Absolutely loved S1 and huge fan of Brendan Gleeson but maybe 2-3 eps into S2 and can't really get past the...

I felt a bit let down by the writers.

Wasn't far off. Went back to it and finished it a few nights ago, stellar stuff from Gleeson and his co-stars, no issues there but the plotline (see spoiler above) is hard to get on board with even accounting for the Stephen King connection and by the end I felt it was a 6/10 effort.

Apparently S3 is getting good reviews, don't think I have any urge to watch it just yet though.

Few decent, or potentially decent at least, things coming to Netflix in Dec... The Witcher on the 20th, 2nd series of Lost in Space on the 24th, V Wars (vampire series based on the comics of the same name) on the 6th, 2nd series of You on the 26th.

The Irishman is out on 27th Nov too.

I think all the Pierce Brosnan Bond films come to it on 31st Dec too.

I loved the whole 3 seasons. Interesting plot turn in S3 to keep Gleeson and his crew active. Final scenes definitely leaves the opportunity for more.

Enjoyed Justine Lupe (Holly) playing a completely different role to one as Willa in Succession.

Funnily enough, just watched episode 4 myself. Very much enjoying it. Also, I love Kelly MacDonald a lot, so that's a bonus.

Just watched Episode 4 and what an absolute stonker of an episode.  Really fucking good.

Yeah, Kelly MacDonald is one good Actor.  The guy who plays Yuto is good too

This whole Yuto and Sarah backstory episode was ace and a gangster gun battle at the end that wouldn't have looked out of place in a Hollywood action movie.

I'm on episode 6 and I still can't decide if I like it or not. Abigail Spencer is great, I'm a  big fan of hers anyway. I think it's her that's making me stick with it.

They don't show the final act but the lead up to it can be still be upsetting enough. The series isn't rife with it though. Don't want to give too much away but it's not only about a killing of cats
