Chucking it down at Anfield, ball should move around quickly on the surface. Early goal is crucial, don't see us winning this if we're still huffing and puffing at 70 mins with the score still 0-0 but our attacking talent is much better than this time last year.

Also hope we're sharp at set-pieces too, got to be prepared from the inevitable deluge from Stoke from corners and free-kicks.

Come on Redmen, start us off with the win.

Will be interesting to see how Aspas and Countino cope with Stokes physicality today - could be key.

If we're patient and don't get drawn into the shitfest stoke will undoubtedly try and create, we should be good for 3 points.
