The lads who have put up threads about Leeds away and Arsenal Cup are only preparing and asking round you can't lock it on them!

Why is Leicester thread up and the game is after the Arsenal game ? Are home games more important ?

I agree. Now is the time that you have to 'nick' vouchers off your mates if you know they aren't planning to go, so that you are ready to apply as soon as details are announced. If you wait till details are announced and then ask around and then apply by post, you'll most likely miss out.

Give the lads a break ;D

Fair doo's, then maybe you should split it into 2 sections.

Home Tickets

Away Tickets

Its a bit unfair locking the topic when people want to go the game who need vouchers thats why they are asking early as possible, if they could only ask when the details are announced then they wont get a ticket cos 9 times out of 10 the tickets sell out on the first day of sale.

Think about it, spliting it into 2 sections maybe better.

Sorry Adam - gotta play fair by everyone.  If we start saying, 'oh post up for a game whenever you feel like it', I'll start a thread now for the Mancs away in the 2002/03 season  ;D

Threads get put up as soon as the club announces the details and the rules are that you post under the threads - if we allowed everyone to post up as and when they wanted to, it means that we'd end up with loads of threads asking for the same ticket/voucher and the most recent posters would be near the top of the board.

We think it's fairer that the first to post get first crack at any spares.  However, everyone needs to wait until we put the thread up as there doesn't seem to be much point in putting a thread up until we know for definite what the voucher is going to be (for aways).

For home FA Cup matches, where there are stubs involved as well, I can see your point and will put threads up as soon as the draw is made in future.  If you think there's other changes for us to consider, then I suggest you take it up with Mr Kurac   ;)  and/or post it on the feedback forum.

Given that none of the lads who posted knows what voucher it is yet (I know it ought to be T for Arsenal etc, but we're talking the LFC Ticket Office here), it doesn't really gain them any advantage if they post now or under the thread when we put it up, as long as we do it when the club makes the announcement.

In any case, I didn't delete the topic, just locked it.  Anyone can still read the posts and offer the lads a voucher when it gets announced.  However, there'll be an 'official' thread going up as soon as an announcement is made, so they might miss out if they don't post on that as well.

As I said, got to be fair to everyone - however, I'll make sure his post will be first up on the Blackburn thread and I for one will be looking to sort him out if at all possible.
