Can't believe they have live blogs for fixture announcements... Newcastle Chronicle saying fixtures will be released at 16:00: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/premier-league-tv-games-confirmed-17071021

Things have gone downhill since deadline day has become less of a 'thing'...  ;D

MEN:

5pm release for fixtures
We understand that the fixtures for the Premier League will be released at 5pm, from two separate sources - although at this stage it’s still unconfirmed.

However, we were initially told 4pm - so there is still the chance it could be pushed back further.

We were initially told last fucking week. This is yet another delay. 100% expecting them at some point tomorrow

Why don't they just say we have no idea when they'll be released.  Today alone we were told 10am, then midday, then mid afternoon, then 4pm and now 5pm  :butt

Wolves says 4.30pm. Proving to be a struggle to get a cheap-ish route so far that doesn't arrive back to London at 1am! lol

I don’t get Sheffield Utd being on TV on Thursday 2nd Jan on BT and having Arsenal v Utd the night before on BT, who is going to want to watch us win comfortably? Now will have beg for leave off work, which makes it really annoying.

Have the cheap tickets for  united game gone on sale yet? When I looked there were no advance tickets for any trains even during the match.

We sell massively so it’s more about putting us on rather than The matchup in opposition

I love that as soon as the announcement's made I'm straight into National Rail to book some trains, see a sweet return for £25.50 and "Oh no! There's been a problem" - 30 minutes later after trying on 4 different browsers (all that show the tickets initially before not letting me purchase) I have to go on Trainline and pay £39.50 for the same times.

Yeah, Watford was excellent. Paid for a slightly expensive train for Wolves just to get in-out. Got a lift for United. Sheffield I got a cheap train and a cheap hotel to stay over...some "working from home" will be done  ;)

Looks like everyone else got the cheaper tickets before me!

Not sure what the issue is really with the Boxing Day kick off at 8pm. Everyone who was gonna work was already going to be working a bank holiday and everyone attending was already going to piss off to the football for the day. If it was at Anfield and I'd got tickets I'd really enjoy being able to spend the morning and early afternoon with the kids before heading off to the football. Probably won't get a spare as it's away though.

I'm shocked and surprised, that people are shocked and surprised, by some of the kick off times.....What did they want us to kicko off at, at Arsenal and few years back?.......7:30pm on christmas or new years eve?

Our end will be twatted at Leicester, bar the small number of designated drivers, of course. ;)

Should we get past Arsenal in the league cup these changes will also mean our FA Cup 3rd round game will be on Sunday 5th January and FA Cup 4th round on Sunday 26th January. With League cup quarter final on Wednesday 8th January, semi final 1st leg on Wednesday 15th January and 2nd leg on Wednesday 29th January.

The Arsenal match was originally planned for that Christmas Eve last year until a few objections were thrown in, in the end that was moved to the Friday, i remember the City match New Years Eve couple of years ago with 5.30pm kickoff

Arsenal was 2y ago.  Last year we had Wolves away on that Friday ::)
Quite relieved we'll be in Qatar or it'd be three in a row.

Doesn't really make too much of a difference all things considered.
I had to book myself onto training on 23rd Jan this morning (Manager said to). At no point did it occur to me I had to worry about a match that day.  >:( :no

Why the fuck will our end be “thwatted”?   As has already been said, most of the day at home, set off 4ish, back home for midnight in time for a few beers, roads clear.

Here's the breakdown of our TV/non TV games so far (23 out if 38, with West Ham away TBC).

Package A: 1230 Saturday KO BT, 3 games out of maximum of 6 (Newcastle H, Sheff Utd A, Watford H).
Package B: 1730 Saturday KO Sky, 3 games out of maximum of 6 (Arsenal H, Burnley A, Spurs A).
Package C: 1945 Saturday/1400 Sunday KOs, Sky, 0 games out of maximum of 5.
Package D: 1630 Sunday KO, Sky, 6 games, maximum 5 games? (Chelsea A, Man Utd A, Spurs H, Man City H, Wolves H, Man Utd H).
Package E: 2000 Monday /1930-2000 Friday/1400 Sunday KOs, Sky, 1 game out of maximum of 5 (Norwich H).
Package F: 1930-2015 3-5 December/1230-2000 26-27 December KOs, Amazon Prime, 2 games of a maximum of 2 (Everton H, Leicester A).
Package G: 1230-2000 1-2 January/1930-2015 21-23 January KOs, BT, 2 games out of a maximum of 3 (Sheff Utd H, Wolves A).  There is the split weekend game as well in this package, which is Norwich A for us.

There are 6 non TV games so far, so unlikely to be more 1500 KOs on a Saturday after Bournemouth.

We already seem to have 1 more game in the 1630 Sunday package.

But who knows how they choose the TV games🥺
