Anyone here use sports drinks, either occasionally or regularly, before/during/after workouts?
I usually just eat a banana & drink some water. If I'm in the mood for something sports drink-y, I sometimes make some cold decaf green tea & add honey or agave nectar. I can't drink Gatorade or Powerade as I find I get a stitch. However, I've been experimenting recently with
BioSteel, a fairly trendy product here in Canada that once had an underground cult following. It's rose to prominence after being endorsed by popular Canadian athletes Andrew Wiggins & Connor McDavid. I'm finding it pretty good so far, to be honest. I only drink it when I really need it, though.
