Southport road near Parklands is Completely flooded. That little white 16th/17th-century cottage is pretty much underwater. Other than that, I think we're all o.k. Don't know whats it's like around the Croston area. Usually, gets hit pretty bad with flooding.

I saw the pics of Ackhurst Lodge on Facebook yesterday.  Really sad to see it.

As far as I know Croston is ok as is Rufford where my son lives but it's the Yarrow and Dougie that does those villages, whereas it's the river Chor that did the cottage.

Something needs to be done about that. It's been happening for years. Building that new housing estate right next to it certainly hasn't helped. Lancashire County council is saying it's Chorley Borough Councils problem and vice versa. They need to get a grip, stop blaming each other and get it sorted.

Chorley council just can't say no to more council tax in the coffers.

If there's land to build on, they'll allow it.

Doing alright here really Chorley. Keeper was beaten by a bit of a lucky swerve on the ball. Think Wolves' superior fitness levels will kick in 2nd half and they'll run out as comfortable winners in the end though. Hope I'm wrong like.

Not taking it as seriously this season , playing raffle winners Pepe, Willian and Nketiah. Saints win here.
It does make sense in that winning the cup again wont be where the progress needs to be made.

I'm not sure if it says more about my lack of paying attention, or the generic state of modern football stadiums but, BT showing the aerial shot of Southampton's stadium, & i thought it was Middlesbrough's stadium, it's only when i looked up to see who was playing, it was Southampton

Must admit my lack of interest compared with a few years ago, apart from us at the red Mancs & City with their usual bye, i don't know who's playing who this weekend.

Got a good free kick/shot on him on a good day. That's about it even in his peak years. With his legs gone he's useless.

Willian played a blinder it has to be said - last season he had his best ever season statistically in goals and assists for Chelsea, which got arsenal biting, and he got a huge 3 year deal to end his career at the top level with. And then promptly has not just reverted to type, but is far worse.

Where is the logic in these offside delays? If the first player is off, why flag 30 seconds later as any goal will be disallowed? Its nuts

Saka is an overrated footballer for me. I just don't see that brilliance in him and I've seen him 10 times this season.
