What a game. Was pretty shoddy up until the first goal in truth, but was solid gold entertainment from there on in and that last minute had everything. River by far the better side over both legs. Great stuff.

always thought this fella was such a coward of a footballer. havent seen him play in years and when i do he jacks it in with his team down to ten and 2-1 down in a final against their deadly rivals

Epic Libertadores for me this season - even the low point, the - 3 to santos - but also the high point because of what followed, that was fucking boss, I heard the TAW/Henry winter thing about this before - about winning and how that isn't what football as all about ... what do I know - I know I love the energy, the vitality and the passion. River in earlier round used an ineligible player, admitted it, and weren't punished for it.

Also their manager got a touch line ban, used walkie talkies for the match he was suspended for. No further punishment.

Does the winner River Plate get a seat in next year’s Libertadores automatically? Because looking at their league position, they are struggling a bit although still a lot of matches to be played.
