Spot on Chakan...but Man Utd seem to have the better part of possession thus far. Liverpool look up for it by all means but you feel if there is going to be a Liverpool goal..its going to come from a piece of magic or a defensive mistake on the part of a Man U player.

14 Liverpool build on the edge of the box knocking it around, gerrard to raul , cross is deflected to Torres, whose header is high and wide, at the other end Giggs earns a corner for yernited

12:00 Torres and Ferdinand challenge on the right side of the byline, Man U half and Kuyt gets in but the balls goes out for a Man U throw in.

Long ball into the Liverpool half and Hernandez is caught offside.

14:00 Liverpool attack...Gerrard and Kuyt combine but the cross by Kuyt takes a deflection on the way in and Torres' header goes well wide for a goal kick.

Long goal kick to Gigs and Kelly masterfully covers and concedes a corner in the Liverpool box. Well done Martin.

Man U corner. Gerrard clears. Throw in Man U.

16":00 Man Utd pressuring Liverpool and winning the 2nd balls at the moment. But it's nothing like the sort of pressure we went through in the first half of the league match early in the season where we were on the back foot for the entire 45 minutes and we could barely get the ball into the Man U half.

Its been an even competition thus far but no clear cut chances for either side.

Nani hasn't had things his way thus far in the first half. Aurelio is doing a sterling job at left back as is young Kelly who is containing Giggs and preventing those runs on the flanks.

31 Kuyt with a probing run at the defense but the cross in is easy for Ferdinand and yernited break, 50/50 ball and gerrard takes out fletcher... it's a 2 footed tackle and Gerrard is off!! What the fuck is happening here??
