At the start of the season I would have taken this. Obviously today was disappointing especially with the way we dominated most of the match.

Things are going to be tough but that's the same for all 3 teams. We are where we are because we have collected as many points as everyone else. Play one game at a time and see what happens.

I remember getting off a plane coming home from Spain hearing that we had lost 3-0 to Barcelona.....I turned round to a friend and said "we'll win and go through".

So who knows what will happen and we are in the mix. Keep winning and try to convert our chances. Maybe Jota and TAA will be back soon.

Given the wholesale changes we made in the summer if someone offered us 71 points and a pretty much guaranteed place in the CL. I would have bitten their hands off. We have achieved that with 7 games to go and have a real chance of winning the league.

I am enjoying the incredible journey this young team are on. After last season, it is astonishing that we are in a title race immediately after reconstructing the team almost from scratch. If you’d told me Ali (to name just one missing giant) would be out injured for most of the season, I’d have worried we might be struggling for fourth - the hopeful target I think most of us had in mind at the start of the season.

I’m also old enough to remember United mugging us frequently on the way to yet another Liverpool league win. It rankled then, as now, but we strode on.

We’ve had endless injuries yet young men have stepped up and carried the banner with pride and passion. We’ve seen some memorable performances. We are somewhat short of the finished article but we’ve seen the future and it is very bright, in my view.

Seven games left to play, all of them tough - for each of the competing teams at the top. There’s more twists to come, and the inconstant Fates look kindly on those who meet their withering gaze with a quiet, but mighty resolve.

We will win this title.

League Cup already in the bag, 2nd in the league with 7 games to go level on points with the 1st placed team, still in the Europa league with a chance to win. Nobody would have predicted that we'd be in this situaton last summer. After the terrible season we've had last year, this one is already a good one. Take every game at a time and then see where it takes us. Everything is possible. Let's fucking go.

I don't really get why so many people seem to want to focus on the misery of a single game, when the overall situation is still positive. I also don't get this focus on "Oh Arsenal won't drop points until the end of the season" and "Man City will win every remaining game". They might do, they might not. We don't know. Why would you focus on how every point we drop means "Game Over"? It's a bit like getting married to someone and on your wedding day already thinking about what the divorce will be like, because loads of marriages don't last these days.

The reaction to us going level at the top has been crazy! Yes, today was a tough one to take, we should have hammered United, but we are still a very good side and our injured players are on their way back. We have ticked off one of our hardest fixtures, and we are in a great position to move forward for the title.

Loads can change, we need one blip and to be faultless, it might happen, a lot of big games are coming up for all teams but we’re the only ones welcoming enormous players back who could fuel a title challenge. Before today I thought 7 wins and a draw would see us win it. In theory that’s still the case, we’ve just had to play our Joker early which has made everyone more uneasy (to very varying degrees!).

To be completely honest I’m less certain we’ll win it now than I was before kick off. But at the same time I’m absolutely convinced we can go on a winning run again and it’s absolutely all to play for.
