Embarrassing performance from him.
Soccer - let's face it, its not really about a game of ball anymore is it?

It’s sad to see how much his quality has fallen off a cliff

I’m guessing this will be his last season with us

Should be. Thanks for the memories but we're not a retirement home. It would probably be best for all parties.

He has fallen off a cliff. The only problem now is he’s played himself out of a move.

He is the crown jewel of the Middle East. Saudi will pay 75 million for him easily.

The Saudi league says hi. They'll still offer us a decent fee whilst doubling or tripling his salary.

It was £250m at the start of the season!
Someday soon everyone will know the truth.  96 never forgotten.

Yeah, bit dramatic...just love that movie :)

It is quite reminiscent of Gerrard's end at Liverpool. Its a shame for Mo.

And if we’d have sold him then we’d be struggling in mid table right now.

What’s crazy was that he was in form of
His life before AFCON. He was electric in that Newcastle game on New Year’s Day when we had xG of 7 goals.

Has he got an undiagnosed underlying injury? Why does he not sprint more than twice in a game? Is he afraid his legs are going to suddenly drop off his body? What a shame

He's been shit since Mane put him out of Afcon.

Anonymous pen and tap in merchant. Should have taken the psg or Arab money. Huge failing of the club not to.

He should be dropped now so he doesn't get injured and sold to the first bidder.

Sad to see comments like this about a club legend.

He looked decent that one sub appearance he had back, I think it was more likely the injury.

I think the measured response should be, he’s been our talisman for so long. But there comes a time when even icons need to be refreshed. As he stands now, he’s becoming more of a liability. Would love to see him go out on a high, but I truly think the writing is on the wall now.

Can’t see him finishing the summer still a Liverpool player. But I really hope people don’t forget all that he has done for us.

They’ve all been shite.

Gakpo Jota Diaz the last game and we actually looked quite threatening. Nunez and Salah come back in and it’s back to being tragic infront of goal.

I think the “Salah’s still world class” arguments need putting to bed now. No doubts he’ll find form again but it needs to be elsewhere. Saved his worst for the most important part of the season — again.

A transfer to Saudi Arabia now looks very likely. 100m should do it.
The biggest problem anywhere in the world is that people's perceptions of reality are filtered through the screening mesh of what they want, and do not want, to be true.

True he wasn’t on his own with a poor performance a Robbo had boots on the wrong feet tonight.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Mo leave.

In any case we don’t have to worry about results or injuries too much now as it’s over for us.

Madness people going for Salah, sadly age is catching up with him, he’s earned a bad patch after everything he’s given us,  look more to the useless lump down the middle. If he played for a rival we’d take the piss out of how shit he is.

Beaten to the ball in the lead up for the second goal, summed up his performance quite well.
