A good start to the new season - a clean sheet and 3 goals scored.

I still amazed that the so called pundits and sports journalists have ignored us as possible champions (except Danny Murphy!). But maybe that it what we need, to be outsiders and leave all the pressure on Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City.

Great goals but especially happy with Bobby's

Mo is just unstoppable

Jota... Oh, like I said before the game. Tricky but cheeky. He will get them in liked a coked-up best man on a stag night

Very satisfying

Great win, hope we don't see Milner starting again though, i love him to bits but i just feel he doesn't bring anything to the game when we need to score... solid option to secure a lead, but not starting please.

Excluding his ace ball to Trent to set up the first of course :wave

Was only a matter of time before we scored a goal like the one Mo put away..Norwich must have had 4 or 5 warnings before our goal.
Great result from a tricky away fixture, clean sheet..Virgil 90 mins..3 pts.
Up the fucking reds!

Great start to the season. Nice to have a comfortable win. Tsimikas seemed to be suffering from brain fog 2nd half but hopefully a few mores games will get him up to speed. Anyway brings back the feel good factor so all good in the world.

On another matter I am about to eat some butter Chicken "curry". Now normally I am more of a madras type person. More tomato sauce base than creamy/buttery sauce base. But there is a bit of heat to this butter chicken so it might just hit the spot. Will let you know in the morning what impact the creamy sauce has.

Superb result against a spirited, if ineffectual, Norwich now as this was the last match of the day does that mean we're last on match of the day too?

Watching the after match discussion, it’s more than a little annoying to hear Carney and Jamie Redknapp effectively dismissing Joel Matip.

He wasn’t out as long as Virgil and Joe G, but given the time he’s been out, his defending AND his other footballing skills were outstanding - his choice, and execution, of passing are both world class.

Classy performance tonight.

As for Norwich - whilst I love their city (wonderful array of medieval churches!), it seems their PL / Championship yo yo may continue?

Come on you mighty reds!

Milner had a decent game .what's up with hendo ? Just getting a extra rest or what?

Hendo and Thiago probably nowhere near match fitness. Both had some injury issues toward the back end of last season which they carried into the Euros and then returned late and didn't partake a lot in pre-season. We have plenty of depth in their positions and I expect they'll be allowed to get fully fit and reintroduced gradually. Perhaps see about 20-30 mins in both the Burnley and Chelsea games, and then come back strong after the international break ready to start games.

Milner, Ox and Naby are all looking very fit and sharp and there's Fab to reintroduce as well so we've got plenty of options. No need to rush anyone back

they can’t be acknowledging the return of the likes of Joel as it spoils the narrative that the only player Liverpool lost to injury last season was Virgil.

It’s utterly bizarre how that is seen as fact by many in the media and oppo fans.
