Cant wait for this!

Filming started this month! the cast features harry of course, Shia Lebeouef, cate Blanchet, John Hurt, Jom Broadbent  and Ray Winstone!

The film is rumoured to be  set in the 1950's and includes a quest for crystal skulls. No sean Connery though.

I reckon that Shia guy (from transformers) may be his son.

Lookin forward to this myself, big fan of Raiders.

I just read that John Hurt is playing Albert Einstein and Cate Blanchet is a commie!

Pity they couldn't have persuaded Connery to return for this one  :(

http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20775

Ending months of speculation, Sean Connery announced today that he will not be returning for Indiana Jones IV as Professor Henry Jones Senior.

Connery said, via a statement, "I get asked the question so often; I thought it best to make an announcement. If anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film. I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honour to have Harrison as my son.  But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun. I, do however, have one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator! This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, ‘Break a leg, everyone.’ I’ll see you on May 22, 2008 at the theater!”

This was on a couple of weeks ago - DRAT !

Theres a bit in The Last Crusade when Indy recuses him from the castle in Austria and they escaping on a motor bike and Indy is taking out the Nazis' - he shoot one, runs one off the road, jousts one and a few others

Anyway, Ford has some grin on his face like some cheeky teenager and he turns to Connery to get his opinion andhe's giving him the best "I'm not impressed face" you'll ever see in your life. Ford then turns away really embarrassed.

A bit of a shit description here but I implore you check it out to see why they should pull out all the stops to bring Connery back for this one !

Nice. Has inspired me to rewatch the first 3 again! Raiders of the Lost Ark is a brilliant film... Temple of Doom was ok if just to see the novelty of a Bollywood actor in a Hollywood film- I can't remember the plot of it actually !

The one thing that always sticks in my mind about the Indi films is the hat, apparantly to make it stay on during the action scenes Ford used to staple it to his fucking head.

Having a nine year old daughter is a perfect excuse to revist classics like this. Back to the Future went down a storm too!
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.
