I was going to say Australia taking it back to the 1970s with that run rate. Then saw this stat. What a thriller that innings must have been!

YeH I’m struggling. Sure I felt more engaged in 2019 which might just make me a glory hunter! But too often games are done and dusted a long way out. And yeah, guess we could play two games a day, it’s not like rugby in terms of how long players need between games. Although there’s a lot of travel involved obviously.

I always think you look to get a good total with  20 overs remaining so you can attack like a T20 for remainder.

Teams these days, if they have wickets in hand, play the last 20 like a T20. So they seek up to 10 runs per over.
