A couple of quick questions that might sound silly and I'm sure they were addressed for the World Cup Draft. How would it work for players like, say, Ibrahimovic that have played with multiple teams in different decades. Would the owners of all teams be able to select him (Ajax, Juve, Inter, Barcelona in the 00's, Barcelona, Milan, Mancs, PSG in the '10s)? And would the entire career count when considering the player's value or only the time and accomplishments at that specific club/in that specific decade?

I'd say most appearances takes priority.

IMO Liverpool should either be out entirely or a Wildcard. Far too easy a win otherwise, especially with the decade restrictions

I agree completely with this Claus.

The question is --- does adding LFC players make the draft better, more exciting in small doses------>>> I am in the Yes camp.

Remember, its only an option, you do not have to use an LFC player (but the one you choose will be hoot, imagine me not taking Firmino if I were playing)....

But I am open to everyone's ideas -- do not have to agree with me here.

Wildcard rather than in for LFC. Let all 2nd picks be their own rather than designated. Gives everyone the chance to be canny or fuck someone else up. OK I think I've read most of it. Understand a fair share of it. We need to build two teams etc. No one knows what team we all have.

But how do we pick?

Unlike the Nations Draft there's going to be a fair few players who would appeal to a lot of teams.

Do I just pick my eleven and then we see if anyone has the same after. Or do we take turns picking?

The manager submits his lineups to me on RAWK mail by a deadline

I work with each manager - communication to ensure they’ve

1. Followed the requirement rules
2. Understand who they can take and who is unavailable
3. Decided upon a formation, structure and team - a visual representation for games
4. Wildcard decision has been made

Can you pick a player who hasn’t necessarily played in the CL for that club (don’t have anyone in mind, but Barnes for Liverpool as an example).

Yes, because the Champions League is a modern tournament --- so if they played for the club, they're in.... if their appearances allow them to selected

The European Cup Losers Draft. Players who have never won the EC/UEFA Cup only eligible.

How about a Top Transfer Fee type Draft.

From maybe 2000.

We all have a budget of say £200m

Any player you select you have to use their highest transfer fee in their career and take that off your budget.

Obviously some big players will be free.

It needs tweaking.

After it's all said and done, teams are sent in anonymously and the normal draft nonsense begins.

Yeah you get 11 random-ish players (you won't get two RBs or GKs or anything) then you put them into a formation and that's your team.

No shit players, no Mancs.

Yeah I like the draft, that's the fun part.
