Hopefully Havertz buggers off to Madrid and not to another PL club.

I think Leverkusen could still keep him, but it will be far harder now. Really hope he doesn't end up in the PL though

CL for Gladbach next year :scarf

What an embarrassing way for Dortmund and Schalke to end their respective campaigns.

 ;D

And I would love nothing more than for Gladbach and LFC to meet up.

Favre and Wagner are surely on borrowed time at their clubs.

I know Dortmund have said Favre will be there last season, but his situation feels a bit like how it ended for Rodgers with us; the writing is on the wall, don't see how it benefits him or the club to prolong the inevitable.

Well in BMG, really pulled it out of the fire the last week or two.

yeah, it could be their ‘Stoke City’ result this! But whereas LFC knew they had to wait a bit for Jürgen Klopp to have a break, BVB may well pull the trigger IF they can get the right man in.

Where Dortmund as bad as the score line suggests? I was quite staggered when I saw the result.

Not sure who that is for them, I know they've been linked with Jesse Marsch.

Getting some sort of clarity on Sancho's future should be a priority for them as well.

Streich would be brilliant but can't see him leaving Freiburg having signed that new deal.

Pochettino might be a decent shout? Can't see many other high profile coaches available.

no chance woth Streich, he doesn’t want to be anywhere else.

ten Hag keeps getting mentioned, I am liking the Jesse Marsch shout more too.

In an interview with Bild today Kloppo said he sent a thank-you text to Bundesliga chief Christian Seifert, and that he had a lot of contact with him during the lockdown. He told him that the title wouldn't have been possible without him because the Bundesliga was a great example. It was a liberation for football people in England.

Wow.  Werder did it.

Werder-HSV playoff is still a possibility!  Though Heidenheim would like to spoil the party.

HSV really blew it last week.  They'll be fuming at how they lost that.  Absolute shambolic defending for Heidenheim's winner too.

Where are they finding a few world class operators from? Unless Dortmund appoint Sam Allardyce they'll be the ones that fail to beat Bayern to it again.

I guess it depends on what path they can take with another coach. There is so much that needs sorting at Schalke, from top to bottom, the club is in turmoil.  A lot of coaches surely would look at it as a bit of a poisoned chalice at the moment.

I don't have a strong opinion on Wagner but I don't think many coaches could do a much better job. Their squad isn't as impressive as Gladbach, Leverkusen or even Wolfsburg. Their defense in particular is horrendous and they need to do a lot of work in the summer, which I'm not sure they could.

Hopefully the scores remain the same, and heidenheim prevail.  The way Buli 2 has gone this season, it’d be the perfect way to end it  ;D

Aki Watzke backing Lucien Favre for next season:

"Every coach in the world would have lost yesterday's game, because it was the team's fault. Before, against Leipzig, we had one of our best matches in the last few years.

"Lucien Favre took us to back-to-back second place finishes and he is still under contract. He deserves a chance to kill the rest of the prejudices that exist towards him in the media.”

He also had a dig at Maxi Arnold for his comments after Wolfsburg ended up in 7th, and rightly so Arnold been better keeping quiet considering!

That defeat, combined with Hoffenheim's surprise win at Dortmund, pushed Wolfsburg down into seventh in the final Bundesliga standings, meaning they have to go through the qualifying rounds in the 2020-21 Europa League rather than automatically reaching the group stage.

Arnold said: "It's a bit of a shame that we finished seventh. I didn't think Dortmund would play like that. 0-4, what more can you say?"

Watzke's response was short and sharp: "If I had lost 0-4 myself, I would shut up.”

Why are you the way you are?

They’ve got 45 minutes to get a draw barring Heidenheim coming back against Bielefeld.

I got a feeling they are going to be the Leeds United of German football. Stuck for eternity in the 2nd division until Marclo Bielsa rescues them.

What makes it worse for HSV is that Sandhausen got beat at home by relegated Dynamo Dresden last week and were thumped by Stuttgart in their previous game.

EDIT: 1-4 now :lmao
