Looks like Freiburg will end the season 8th, they are 2-0 up vs Schalke so far.

What an amazing season for them, one of the smallest budgeted teams in the league, yet here they are, love ‘em.

To be fair, I think they would have gone down in the playoff regardless. They have the stadium to be bigger than they are, but something never clicks there

Agreed. Hopefully Werder can stay up and build properly next season. Don't want to see them frequent these playoffs like Hamburg.

Yeeeeesssssss Werder! I had resigned myself to watching Bremen in the second division for the first time in my life (and yes, I know it might still happen) but they’ve only gone and bloody done it. Those 7 points from 3 games after the restart saved their bacon.
