Parts of England could well see some snow falling Wednesday night into Thursday. Probably not cold enough to stick (away from hills).

Going to be a shivery shock to the system for a few days as winds swing to northerlies, before temps recover a little, although still on the chilly side for the beginning of April.

Its that transition from winter to spring, in March, you always get a few days of great weather were it's sunny & 15C to 20C, then the weather goes shit again, & feels like winter, i remember one year only a few years ago, when it snowed a week, & a few days before Easter.

On that transition from winter to spring, some trees & plants have already started flowering

March 2007 was glorious all month, I remember it well as it was the last month of my Mums life and I was riding from the GFs (now missus) house to Southport on the bike as the weather was so warm, 2020 was a bit like this one, went sunny then cold as we were locked down. I also remember some March's where it snowed, 2006 I remember snow and quite a few times in the late 90's early 00's

We've got flowers all over the place and leaves on some trees, the two opposite my have had blossom and that's been knocked off by the rain and they're covered in leaves.

Regarding all the other posts I remember it snowing on my birthday in 1982 I think and in 2013 it was sleeting . Last week it was 18 . The daffodils in the park will be fucked in a few days. The rain a few hours ago had a bit of hail in it . It was mad seeing the blossom get blown of trees at the same time.

I remember it snowing one day back in May 1985. I remember it well as it was my first year in senior school. It was a light dusting, but it stuck.

It was frosty at -1 when I went to bed last night. I had to go to Crosby this afternoon and it was snowing when I left. While in Crosby I had bright sunshine, rain, then hailstones.

I'll be in Wales tomorrow, and I saw snow on the tops there from Crosby beach.

Most of northern Snowdonia has a good covering of snow today.

I drove to Prestatyn this morning and it was beautiful seeing it sparkling in the sunshine. Not sure it'll be there for long though.

saw a few flakes of snow on Lark Lane earlier today, but only for about 30 seconds. Been bloody freezing, despite the sun, and it lashed it down a few moments ago. Only going to get colder once the sun is gone.

Looking at the wind chart, & going to be light winds, but from every direction over the next 24 hours.

Currently south easterly, swinging to the east around lunchtime, then north easterly by mid afternoon, to the north by early evening, switching to north east by late night, then changes to south west overnight, then west at sunrise tomorrow.
