Looking great Claire! It's only just appeared for me - was trying earlier and was still getting old site.

I didn't realise the desktop site was getting updated with a dark moe as well - added bonus!

One thing I've just noticed - the New sign isn't appearing for the Feedback forum. Just clicked on it and there was a new post (in this thread) but didn't show the New sign. Seems to work on most of the others.

EDIT: Actually did the top level forums ever have it? The thing is with the new colour scheme you can't see the bolder red as easily when there is a new post so you need the New button to see if there are new posts.

Hope it goes without saying I'm someone that is used to piloting things, and getting people to pilot things for me so I'm not saying this to complain. The worst thing is having pilot users that find issues and don't report them! Appreciate the work gone into it.

A massive improvement on mobile.
Thanks a million for making it happen Claire. So far the only minor nitpick would be to bump up the spacing between pagination numbers. Also in the Post Reply screen the frame for typing is quite small compared to the actual screen.

But as I said - nitpicks.
Dark theme is a godsend, having it was the main reason I used Tapatalk.

Just noticed when I go to post, the words Subject and Message at the top are overlapped with the boxes. Will attach a screenshot for you to see.

Edit: this also happens with words overlapping if you click on profile and then the arrows to take you to profile info. All the headings of the profile are overlapping.

Not sure if doable, but on the topic list page it would be good if topic title and last poster username weren’t in equal columns but instead in stacked rows. This would give the topic title more room to breathe - at the moment some go into four/five lines as the horizontal space is so tight.

Not sure it's just me but in the unread posts function all I see is the thread title with a "new" icon to click. It doesn't tell me how many posts, or pages or any other info.

Other than that it looks great and do much easier though I've not tried to post any pics yet.

Same question is there something we have to do to access dark theme?
Chrome on Android 10 OnePlus.

Dare I ask is there a.possibility of a black theme? No idea whether these things are easy to implement or not

I got the dark theme automatically - on phone and desktop but that is how I like it.

I know it is possible to set up websites to use the same theme as your OS (Windows or iOS/Android) so maybe that is what has been done.

If not, no worries at all. Having the mobile functionality is worth having a slightly different web browsing function.

Got the same thing as others where the mobile view has been applied to my desktop browser.

Claire, how much control do you have over the cosmetics/formatting and how much time do you have on your hands? I've got a few ideas about how to make the mobile version cleaner but I don't want to take the piss.

You can switch it back in the options when you go to your profile.

I did as realised I hate mobile themes for forums, although tbf it did look better than any others I’ve used.

I assume this won’t be forced on all mobile devices and we’d still have the option of this current theme (which is boss and doesn’t need changing!)?

The general RAWK forum is ideal for web browsing. Zooming in and out in the browser to click links and read posts is a total ballache.

Ideally will be able to use both depending on where you're browsing from. Happy to throw some more in the RAWK kitty, or get Claire a couple of beers personally. I like to surf on my mobile quite a lot but I've got to not bothering recently with Tapatalk being a pain in the arse.

This seems to have fixed my problem I had with an extension that was stopping pages jumping to the latest new post when I click New. Another added bonus.

It’s not a particular mobile setup, it’s just media queries. We’re halfway through a major redesign for work so I’ve got fuck all time til August really. I’m only doing it in the browser as I go, I’m not designing anything, I’ve got the base from the old theme and I’m just messing about with it as and when. Anything being re-laid out is pure css with no actual template changes cos I fucking hate php.

Dunno how that works cos this is just a copy of the old theme and I’ve only changed css 😂

I'm guessing - and I'm not an expert by any means - that is very much not a minor thing seeing as it is pretty much a static site so when you get to the end of a thread you need to reload or go to another page to know about any unread posts.

Sorry, I'm not very technically minded so are you saying it's not possible? It's there on the desktop version at the top of every page so wasn't sure if the same could be applied to a mobile version.
