We may sign Salah, but I'll show my arse in the middle of town if we sign one of VVD or Keita. Not gonna happen.

2' Throw in Liverpool, Milner takes it, possession given away.

Spurs pass it around at the back and regroup.

3' Origi off side there, he is hanging there on the shoulders it seems.

Spurs break forward, pass left, cross coming here, cleared.

Lucas clears and Milner is away, good move down right, corner.

What a touch from Can there. Big header from Moreno made Cou have to work to keep it in play to avoid the throw. He did that by knocking it over his shoulder for Can to back heel volly sideways the ball back to him.

9' Injury there for Chadli.

Another corner, Milner with a good one, off the bar, deflected by Origi, how did that not go in.

It's painful listening to him but Owen's just nailed it.

"It's nice to see Liverpool go forward as soon as they get the ball, no messing about with possession."

Milner down right is actually working well here, Moreno pushed by Lamela, foul.

Count how many times Mignolet has touched the ball. By my count it's 0 at the moment. We aren't stuffing around with the ball at the back passing it between center backs and then back to Mignolet to hoof it to no-one in particular. It's fantastic.

13' I'm certainly enjoying the passing and movement here.

Good possession here, pushing it forward, back and then forward again, Lallana with a hit, straight at the keeper.

Can definitely see that we're pressing with purpose

The last 2 mins Spurs looking like they are playing at 0.8 of our pace

Great to see isnt it and this could work to our favour. By that I mean, people have said Klopp knackered out his players, hence his last season...well he has come in a quarter of a way through the season and is only now putting the players through his paces. Come the end of the season we could be the team with a lot left in out tanks fitness wise...time will tell.

I think the mandate by Klopp would have been score in the first 25 minutes and then take a break from pressing. Truth be told Origi should have done better with his chance, the difference between a Sturridge/Benteke and Origi.

Clyne instead of putting it out for a throw, used his left to hack at the ball and ended up playing it inside for Spurs to attack. Lets hope defensive mistakes dont bite us.

Absolutely no doubt that our pressing is putting Spurs off their game - when they do get ball they don't know what to do with it

Agreed and as Sol pointed out, we need to make it count while we are on top.

28 Lallana comes deep for the ball, him and Skrtel get into a mess and lose the ball. It's fed to N'Jie who hits it well with the outside of his foot and Migs pulls off a great save,
