There's a lot of bed wetting half time Internet reds that shouldn't be allowed to enjoy this. Or be allowed to stay up long enough for MOTD.

Get the fuck in lads. Brilliant second half. Gladly call myself wrong as I thought we would lose judging by the first half.

Fucking delighted.

Get in!!! Massive from Mignolet too

was gonna bump his thread, he made two brilliant saves from point blank, horrendous back header from wini, and he somehow managed to stop a row of stoke players, then again just after we scored.

His kicking was half decent - especially in the second, no stupid thow outs putting players in the shit.

and best of all with time running out he actually dropped on the ball.

hindsight is wonderful isnt it. too many changes in the shape of the game i think. the whole team looks clueless. which made it harder for the 2 kids to shine when even the regulars are lost.
Hindsight is wonderful.. foresight today left a bit to be desired though.

::Ahem:: I did say we'd get the win in the HT thread...Dry bed sheets here.

The rest of this season is simple: it is a cup run. Go all out attack. It is all we know and can do. Just after Bobby's goal our MoTM
makes an incredible save that we see all the other top team's keepers make week in week out but we had like 5 players to their two attackers defending...

yay! Well that madness worked out in the end  ;D A fresh Couti with 2 days off from training and a fresher Bobby did the trick.

Big ups to Big Si too, Mignolet had 2 cracking saves.

Simon, MOTM, two fucking a mazing saves, both could be saves of the year.

Fantastic 2nd half performance, could and should have been 4-1 at the end.

Get in you fucking beautiful Redmen.

Knowing how bad we can be against the teams outside the top six or so, 7 points from 9 against the bitters, Bournemouth and Stoke suddenly looks pretty decent.

Anyway, it's great to see us digging out a result when it really mattered today.

Oh, and Walters... Fuck of you bitter blueshite knob.

Thank the fucking lord for our Brazilians. They changed the game completely though both faded to some extent after about 30 minutes showing how ill/tired they were. Absolute magicians though when fully fit.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Not for me......his bad header should have gifted Stoke their second only for Simon to pull out a great point-blank save.

Yeah, that was poor. But his pass for Firmino was sublime. And he made several important interceptions and tackles late in the second half. I could certainly see Migs having the better shout for MOTM. He is playing in some form lately.

Massive, massive, massive win.

Great changes by Klopp, amazing goal by Firmino and that save by Simon Mignolet at 2-1 was absolutely incredible.

Felt it was harsh on Woodburn and Alexander-Arnold to be taken off given I thought they were playing well, hopefully we’ll see more of them between now and the end of the season.

Excellent result, great work by Klopp and the players to turn it around in the end.
Think it was about experience rather than performances really

Given Stoke's non-performance in the first half (nevermind the fact they were winning, they barely broke a sweat), we just needed as many players as possible on the pitch who know how to take advantage of that situation.

Nice to know this group of lads have a set of balls. What a huge test to overcome.

I'm not being hyperbole, it's our biggest win of the season. Just because this mental resolve sets us up nicely for the rest of the games. Suddenly all these scrappy games we have remaining look less tough

:wave half-time dickheads - here's a lesson you might have learnt by now: Football matches last 90 minutes.

You're welcome.
I went in to the half time thread to say there will be changes from the bench and that stoke have an average age in the 30s, so will be shagged, but the negativity put me off staying in there, so I looked at the other results instead (man city went above us for a while, Bobby put them back in their place). We needed the win, Mignolet is a better player this year than last, Lallana and Hendo due back soon. 7 from 9 is a good week.

I said it needed a massive turn around at half time to win and that's exactly what we got.  This is a big win, not just for the points but the confidence it'll give to the players and fans for this run in.

Adversity is the test of support really isn't it.
We're in a situation where we've left ourselves short and then got very unlucky and that combination means top 4 is tight when it could have been easy. But we are where we are - we still have good players, we still have better players than the teams we'll play. And - fuck it - we're Liverpool.

I've never seen this group of players not try or quit - the opposite as it goes. There's absolutely no reason we won't win today and even if we don't we can still get top 4.
Support is easy when things are going well (in football and life) but its needed when things don't go well.....like when you're in a storm or something... think there's a song about that I think

Needs posting again, and after that hopefully quite a few people take that on board.

That's what this club does, turns it around. Time and again.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
