"The key isn't the system itself, but how the players adapt on the pitch. It doesn't matter if it's 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, it's the role of the players that counts." Rafa Benitez
We will be very lucky if that's 4 to 6 weeks. That gormless c*nt with a horrific challenge. Evertonians will be building Pickford a statue as we speak.
Hopefully the fact he walked off means it isn't as bad as it looks
Looked really bad. Typical look of an ACL injury. Hopefully he gets lucky and escape with just a minor problem.
He at least walked off.
I don't like the hyperextension of the knee on contact...Means absolutely nothing apart from he didn't break his leg.All this has come from the assistants following directives not to put their flag up until the ball has been played or whatever. If the flag goes up straight away, cos the lino thought it was offside, then Pickford doesn't even come for that ball. All fucking bollocks.
What is your opinion Welsh? Hard to diagnose from a photo like but at least a few weeks you'd think?
Honestly? Wouldn't be surprised if it was ACL.
Don't say that. Would he still be able to walk off though?
Hoping it's not a 6 months out job.
Yes, didn’t Lucas even come back on and play for a couple of minutes a few years back when he did his?
Ox did, Lucas did.
Yes. Walking off the pitch just means you probably haven't broken a bone. Planted foot and hyperextension on contact, I don't like it.
They checked for ligament damage, and clearly he felt something because he came off. They won't know anything until they do the scans. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious.
Freeze frame looks dreadful and he was down for quite a long time. In my current morbid mood I'm expecting months
