Right I've Pm'd a few legendary old timers drafters to see if they're interested in the next one. if they have the time.  Let's see who PoP's by.  ;D

When are you going to play again? That's the most important question.
"Don’t let your heads drop. We’re Liverpool. You’re playing for Liverpool. Don’t forget that. You have to hold your heads high for the supporters. You have to do it for them." - Rafa Benitez, halftime, Istanbul, 2005.

Cheers. I think I'll have time to do one, so I'll join in if it's not full yet. Hopefully I can take it less seriously than the last time I was part of one, don't know how much time I spent making lists and checking wikipedia.

So, my SPL FM2010 simulation draft is to be delayed/cancelled or what's going on?  :champ

I personally think that instead of the full 2010's ones for now (when the decade ain't even over yet) using the unique FM simulation could be a fun way to still pay tribute to the decade.

Interested but How do we know how the FM database compares to reality? A good youngster in game could be a no mark in real life and vice versa?

Insanely accurate. Whoever was in top form back then or a prospect turned great. What can be said though is that of course there are some exceptions but it's not like Yaya Sanogo didn't get to play for a good team, no?

Oh...  ;D

That being said, my plan would be for a seven-year simulation so that it's still viable to pick players around 30 years of age and that those wonderkids only just truly have hit their peak when the simulation is up. That being said, if you knew who was hot and not after the summer of 2009, you'd be all guns blazing to pick the right players.

The basics of a sheep draft are that each round has a category and you have to pick a unique player, or you don't get your player. All picks sent in simultaneously and if at the end of the draft you don't have a full side, the community picks your remaining players.

Can try for Messi or Pele, and end up having Dave Nugent picked for you up front, so maybe it is best settling for Nicholas Anelka. It is 50% strategy, 50% guts and 100% luck.

I was thinking of putting together a Christmas themed Sheep draft (an all time draft, but the categories for picking would be loosely christmas related)

Would that be of interest?
