I maintain not signing a centre-back in January has cost us the league. Everything seemed to drain from the team after that back pass by Quansah at Barad-Dûr. We desperately need a centre back pair that can be relied upon to start at least 30 Premier League games together. You cannot win a league by chopping and changing the defence so much.
You’re full of hot takes today. You’ll be comparing Quansah to Jay Spearing and Luis Alberto next.

Not signing a Centre back has nothing to do with the whole squad seemingly losing focus, falling out of form or whatever the fuck has happened

Yeah I’ve seen it.

My point is he knows he’s mic’d up so if he’s clever he’d insinuate the player was injured so that the audio conforms to that.

You could be totally right, in which case you’d hope he’s now absolutely fucked.

If he is clever he just lets it play out. It isn't Taylor who has made the mistake it's Areola. I mean he didn't blow his whistle at Old Trafford when Quansah inexplicably failed to spot Fernades and played the ball to him.

Reminds me a little if coutinho. If we had another diaz on the right wing, and a nunez who could score we would be alot better off.
2/5 of salahs passes are schoolboy, and im serious when i say schoolboy. For a professional player to pass like he does is shocking at time.  You can also add nunez into that equation, which in turn losses momentum, confidence from other players to even pass to them.

He’s not fucked.

He will just say player said he was injured.

I see it a bit differently but maybe I’m just bias towards mo.

If it was any other player then after the game saying he’ll bring the fire I’d be pissed, but I can just hear Mo saying that in his daft little way he plays about and I know he’s just likely speaking from the heart but in a joking way because he’s still a bit pissed.

Yeah he should keep his gob shut but unless we see a video of it to gauge how mad or playful he is being I’m more fucked off at the c*nt, shit stirring sewer rats the press and journalists that are desperate to cause murder, which they have done.

There's a link to a video of it on the last page.

I always thought it was the city game/. All over them and couldn't win. For me it started then.
I'd definitely agree with that, we were lucky against Forest just before that as well.

It's all gone a bit Roy Evans.  Oh well, we lost a lot of experience last summer but it was fun while it lasted.  For years I didn't expect to even be in a title race never mind actually winning the thing when we did!  Cheers Jurgen.

Well that’s one in the bag.

He plays right back with Bradley and Trent goes to midfield  (or is sold)

I thought for sure he was a left back, but you are the second one who has called him a right back, so I guess I'm wrong. Would be really strange to drop money on a RB, though. I do think he has some positional versatility, though, so maybe that's what they are thinking.

Have you seen the clip?

He’s probably panicked did the first thing he could think of to get out of it, which was telling the keeper to go to ground.

Yeah I’ve seen it.

I haven't much liked him since 2022 when he bent the club over a barrel with his new contract despite poor form after AFCON. And now his form has turned to shit again he's publicly throwing a tantrum at Klopp instead of doing what is best for the club and his body.

Not to mention, I don't care much for him and his Trump-supporting agent as people. One of our greatest players, but that doesn't make him someone to support unconditionally.
I don’t recall him bending the club over a barrel for a new contract, any more than any other top player does. Plus he’s been top scorer in both those seasons since so it’s not like he wasn’t worth the contract.

Still none of this has anything to do with someone following their religious beliefs so bit pointless bringing it up
