Croatia would have. Even if Israel would have won the public vote then fair enough if that's what the people decide. They shouldn't have been allowed to participate in the first place. Looking for faux artistic merit in a competition like Eurovision is just silly and phony.

Delighted all the racists around Europe made them get top points, spent money on it and all for nothing.

Agree. I think they started when the UK (big contributor) started getting loads of nils after we killed and injured many hundreds of thousands in Iraq and Afghan after a terror attack. Maybe we should have had protests outside for us to be chucked out too.
Should just be public vote or at least a lot less points for judges.

People who are strongly pro-isreal will vote for them in this climate.
Those who are not will have their vote spread over lots of other countries, or in many cases, are not participating in this years contest
Think this is probably spot on. Suppose it’s one of the rare opportunities to publicly but also anonymously show support for Israel.
