Quite funny that. Day 3 does get a bit weird.

Yep .it’s the worst cheating I’ve ever seen

No wonder jurgens had enough

Honestly, I think half the reason why he is leaving is he gets this shit every week

Well there it is. A referee actively influencing proceedings to cover his own mistakes. Actively seeking collusion from the 'keeper. For me, that's sackable.

It goes far beyond that though. Referees are mic'd up. The two assistants. The 4th official and Stockley Park will have heard that. If the PGMOL do not act then they are complicit in corruption.

We have this ability to make shite teams look decent, Arsenal got 6 vs these.

6 goals? Cos they didn’t get 6 points.

West Ham beat them at the Emirates.

But agree with the general point that we’re making heavy weather of things.

Gakpo needs to put the ball in the net.
Despite what most are saying, I don't think he'd get booked.
Watching it, he's not going to slam the ball into the net, he's walking it in.
And if he does get booked, so what? It'll just mean more explaining for Taylor.
There has been little comment on what Areola is doing. I think he genuinely thinks he has been awarded a free kick. It's the old roll the ball out, pull up your socks to waste time etc.
Could it possibly be 'unsporting' for Gakpo to score? Perhaps.
But it's not for Taylor to decide that.
As others have said, he knew exactly what he was doing by blowing the whistle.

This is where all the back covering comes in. Like Rugby, Taylor and the VAR should look at the replays together and VAR have the balls to say to Taylor, "you've missed that, its at least a yellow". But no, they just cheat.

It really is a cheats charter. It’s sickening

clear says Floor to Areola

So what we have is a real life footballing equivalent of the “bring out your dead” bit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

“Get on the floor”
“I’m not injured”
“Yes you are, you’ll be in absolute agony in a minute”
“I think I’ll got for a walk”
“You’re not fooling anyone”
“I don’t want to see the physio”
“Oh, don’t be such a big baby”

He looked good when he came on. That burst of pace he showed is something I’ve not seen in a while. We need a pissed off Salah with a point to prove in the final 3 games of the season.

Damn … only 3 games under Klopp left. 🥹

We needed a pissed off salah with a point to prove the last 4 weeks. Not with 3 games to go and nothing to play for.

Thanks for that.

That is quite frankly disgusting. The club now has to act.
Well there it is. A referee actively influencing proceedings (and quite probably the outcome of the game) to cover his own mistake. Actively seeking collusion from the 'keeper. For me, that's sackable.

Even the most ardent of "it's just honest mistakes" people must hold their hands up on this one.

People acting as though his little sulk was justified - he was still shite when he came on. Made a bollocks of a simple ball through in the passage of play that some are raving about. But great if people think it's fine he throws a public strop with the manager if it makes him run around a bit after being appalling for weeks.

People really are desperate sometimes to justify any kind of bullshit.

No your right it wasn't a great pass (just behind Nunez), it was more the speed I (and I think others) had referred to. He looked in top gear there. I wonder if that injury, very rare for Mo, affected him more than we know. It's the first time he's really had that with us, and its coincided with the first time he hadn't been at it at the business end.
