Everyone now (who uses a visa card). If you read this thread for the last few sales you'll see some others have had issues where it has been turfing people out after failing validation. It's crap.

Does the same issues arise with Mastercards? If I get tickets in my basket for Southampton and it happens again tomorrow I will be raging.

Did it say seats were not reserved after going through verified by visa check? Happened to me on 2 separate occasions once with 2 kop tickets and once with 2 anfield road end tickets

Yeah the club needs to be made aware of it. It happened to me today and on Monday. Really annoyed. How am I meant to buy tickets if this keeps happening? Fucking fuming.

The verified visa box came up, I didn't click continue and eventually it just processed it. I was using a saved card so that might have helped. I had problems with it in the past so it may be that my credit card company has approved LFC. My hands were trembling, though...

I didn't mate. Had 4 together for Southampton the morning of the additional sale and at the verified by visa bullsh1t screen after I put in the code (immediately might I add) and clicked buy it said 'there are no items in your basket'

in fairness it’s probably not really a club problem, the visa verification is shit on all websites for me. The fact it’s coupled with an already shit system problem doesn’t help matters

I have my card saved and didn't get any visa verification thing. I use Visa Debit for purchasing. I did get a weird page saying please wait after I pressed purchase. Thought it was gonna fail but went straight through.

Basketed a ticket for somebody yesterday - got to the visa screen and then lost the ticket
in the basket for them.

Just watch out for it in future and be aware you are more than likely going to be asked.

Managed to basket one for myself before hand and got it no problem thank god

It's not the website who approves / rejects it. It's your bank that will be rejecting it. The way the website is handling the rejection is the issue.

Surely if you enter in the details correct it won't reject you? Or has that been the issue? Maybe it's the way you have to leave the page technically and then go back that's causing the issue?

Have yous had any issues with verified by visa on any other sites? I have to do it generally for anything I’d buy online and it’s never rejected. Haven’t had the chance to buy tickets with it yet though but does it seem to be rejecting your cards when they work 99% of the time when buying anything else?

For context - the credit card I tried to use is a joint one with my partner. She got a text asking her to verify the transaction (which she did), but I'd already tried a different card successfully.

Yeah never had an issue on any site. It's done it on my Mastercard, Visa (Natwest) and Visa (Revolut). Three times now. Really not on.

I get the text code, type it in, it says payment successful and then it takes me to a screen saying tickets no longer in basket. Ticket office as unhelpful as ever.

It's a glitch on their behalf. Detailed entered correctly on my side and still happened. Needs binning off or sorting ASAP

It can't be binned off. I imagine it's now a requirement of the banks for merchants to put transactions through the verified by visa / mastercard protocols.
It should however be fixed to correctly handle rejections / declines and not kick you off the website.
