Trip there was decent and the highlight was a pick out of the rock theme tune, rick astley or a certain individual beltin out total eclipse of the heart all over the coach :D.

The coach got rickrolled.

Shocking.

good trip all in all, some cracking bars and good in the sqaure on matchday just shocking measures taken against us with their police and security...locking us in with riot shields and police dogs etc everywere.
Then forced to climb down some bank and walk on the road to the metro, searched 3 times on the way in etc?!!

Enjoyed the trip overall though
not a bad trip, nearly ruined by the C.R.S. once again not a fuckin clue how to police a match, standing there just praying someone would get out of order, where the fuck were our stewards after the match, nobody telling anybody what was going on,as you said dean, goin down those steps at the back straight onto the motorway hard shoulder, only good thing about that, was that it saved walking round lilles answer to stanley park, just thing of it lads when lille play here next week we send there fans on a walk round aintree to get to the stadium, then when they get there 3 complete body searches before they get in....been goin for many a year, last nite could have turned really ugly, anyone who was there knows that!!!!!

Highlight of the trip was that twat who appeared with that tear gas grenade launcher. Was pissing myself when he was waving it around, looked as if he'd never used one.

Good trip despite the match.

Square was good, was a bit pricey so ended up going to a shop and buying a few cans. Was in this upstairs room of one of the bars which was a good laugh.

Then found another bar and bumped into a few RAWKites. Nice to meet you rhylred, Longworth and PAC-MAN. Hope I wasnt too much of an arse :D.

Police were a bit over the top, and the walk back to the Metro was horrific.

We've just got to do a job against them next week and we might get another trip out of this season.

Yeah good trip overall i thought apart from the game etc.

Seems like alot of people stayed in the hotel mister, was very basic but great location, pity about the vendng machine not working, was gasping this morning.

Good to meet a few lads off this site in the bar before the game conorynwa and a few others.

Thought the police before and defo after the game where a disgrace, they where just bringing trouble on themselves with what they did as we where all just leaving the game to head to town.

Atmosphere in the pubs before the game was very good upstairs in 1 of the bars, wasnt the worst but defo not the best atmosphere in our end, only really got goin when the flare was lite.

I wish you?

Should have said,

Obtenez votre manteau, que vous avez tiré = Get your coat, you've pulled!   ;D :-*

Given the number of searches, where exactly did that lad have the flare?  :o :moon
So these are meat pies.  What kind of meat exactly?

Not a bad trip bar the result!

Caught an early ferry down from dover to dunkerque and picked a couple of hitchhikers trying to hitch hike to amsterdam, some charity thing don't know if they made it though. Met up with the usual group on the ferry and it wasn't long before Gary the paedo started, i'm not a bad person just a mix of indentities!

Off the ferry and a quick stop off in adinkerque for smokes and a lovely but lonely drive down to Lille through Belgium, only my second drive abroad and i managed to drive on the right side of the road, more confusing when i came back.

Found the hotel quite easily and a ton of reds in Cosy's which was quite a nice place, jumped on a bus and into town and filled up on a McNasty's.

Can't remember the name of the bar we were in but it was down a side street by this sex shop, locals told me it had a dungeon downstairs in the basement for all that bondage, zapping and stuff.

Funniest part of the trip, picked up a load more reds on the way to the metro, piled in and started singing, locals hated it and couldn't wait to get off, train pulls away with a jolt and Daz, beer and kebab get launched down the carriage and he lands on his arse :lmao, Daz is a big bloke and was suprised he didn't take anyone with him :D

god awful walk round to our end that never seemed to end at one point, upteen amount of searches and a raping by the french police and we are in, how that flare got i don't know after the border line cavity search, was good though as it set are end off after quiet moments throughout.

few more drinks after the game, a long long walk back to the hotel, quick drive back to the port and home yesterday, will this have been our last euro away for the season?

The UEFA Intertoto Cup, also abbreviated as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition for European clubs that have not qualified for one of the two major UEFA competitions, the Champions League and the UEFA Cup. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup directly enter in the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point.

Hope for next season if we can't improve :wave

it was bigger than him that thing, cue a comment of 'mines bigger than yours', wether he got his out i don't know ;D

Never spilled a drop though ;)

Fucking stupid at the end of the game again, why oh why do people start rattling gates and hurling stuff and abuse at the police after a game?  It's not like we've never been kept behind after a game before is it! And do you really think they will open the gates sooner because of it?  Because of the nobheads at the front we ended up walking unescorted down a fuckin' motorway and nearly missed our ferry in the end!  If you don't want to be kept in after a match don't go, simples!

I meet them for the first time last week. He's a nice fella born in Liverpool but living in Sweden. he helped me alot cause he carried me from Charleroi to Lille. He told me he does almost every European travel. so he can watch the matches and meet his Scousers friends.

Have you any photo of that "tiny" bar? it has been funny to do the pre-match singing there ahahah!
