Wow! GB's Josh Kerr beats Morrissey lookalike Ingebrigtsen to win gold in the 1500m.

Heaven knows he’s miserable now

Jakob is amazing but was a bit cocky in the earlier rounds
He'll win the league in the next 3 years. Quote me on that.
Quote me on this, but come next season he'll be great for us. Just needs to remove the walking headless chicken next to him

Indeed. OK to act like that if you deliver. Looks like a bit of a twat now though.

Brilliant race, great run by Kerr.

Anyone wagging around a 'number 1' finger on the start line deserves to be beaten.

I think he was trying to play mind games to cover up the fact that he wasn't running at his best.

Bloody sick of Irish athletes finishing 4th when they deserve a medal. Adeleke is still only 20 and has a decade of major championships to go though.

She's burned out after the college season. Her best this season would have comfortably got her silver. Her main competitor in that who has a faster time was nowhere in the heats. I'd expect those two to be very strong by the Olympics as I think both have gone pro.

My 2 lads, Harry and Jack, are flying out to Budapest today as they have tickets for Saturday in the hope to see Harry's best mate Max Burgin reach the final.  They land around the time he'll be running in the semi final.

I remember you mentioning him a few years back. Saw him in the heats and thought it was the same guy. Does he have a medal chance?

Possibly, think it's wide open.  He's only run twice this year before the champs so he's basically running into form.  I do know that he will take it out from the front tonight and hopefully Saturday as that's the only way he knows.  We have a chance to get all 3 in the final, but the other 2 need to run tactically sound and not get boxed as they did in the heats.

Just seen that fella slip in the long jump. Surely that needs changing if they have put a plastic piece on the line that’s going to get wet and slippy easily.

2 buggies carrying 200m sprinters crashed meaning a delay to one of the semi finals… and this happened too

It's funny after the fact, but an athlete in cool down mode suddenly jumping up like that and pulling a hamstring wouldn't be so funny.

Silver for Hudson-Smith! Went out so hard and faded. Thought he might miss out on the medals altogether in the last few metres. Good effort.

Just went out a little bit too fast and had nothing left at the end.

He needed that semi-final run tonight, as it looked like he could've potentially dipped under 44 seconds then.
