Not a great result in the circumstances.

Looked we just ran out of ideas after an hour, the intensity dropped off completely, the atmosphere went and we didn’t ask enough questions of Chelsea. Thought Robertson and Mane were both poor today.

Harvey Elliott was really impressive, VVD and Matip were excellent.

Time waste all half and only get 3 minutes added on. Not saying we would have scored if there had been longer, but it's a fucking joke.

Chelsea and Azpilicueta in particular are horrid.

Good result. Some good performances. Thought Klopp got the subs wrong in the second half, that Thiago change came 10 mins to late. Oh well, unbeaten.

Disappointing not to score the 2nd, but a point will do, we didnt lose ground on anyone and we couldn't afford to lose.

Matip and Van Dijk, MOTM both of them kept Lukaku in their pockets all game

Missed opportunity that. Thought quite a few players were bad to be honest, notably down the left side of the pitch. Against 10 men you got to move the ball around quickly. We passed it slowly, Trent hardly ever decided to overlap Mo, Mo pushed wide to cover that gap, didn't really work as we needed him in the box.

Embarassing

One of the least street smart performances i've seen from us in a long long time. Played into their hands, fell for every dive, scream, shielding of the ball, tried the exact same sequence of play over and over and over and didn't even have someone on the bench to give them something else to think about. How have we been outplayed and outfought for any period of a game by 10 men

Terrible 2nd half performance from us, created no chances of note and we look to be a bit off this Chelsea side who probably win with 11 today. Big opportunity missed but we got what we deserved.

Fuck. Not easy to score against a good defence with 5 at the back, but that's sickening all the same.

Just never got a loose ball or deflection fall our way. Sometimes you need that.

Its not easy to create chances against Chelsea let alone when they're parked in their own half. The way you lot go on about it as if we were playing a relegation side.

Not cute at all in the 2nd half. Id have given Kostas a good half hour. Robbo wast tired and wasn't adding much in attack. Chelsea are superb defensively but you have to make them work harder.

Didn’t have anywhere eat enough ideas going forward to break them down. Makes it hard when the left side was absolutely abysmal and offered no attacking threat all day. Not sure how it was only 3 minutes of time added on after all that time wasting though

Created no chances of note? Salah had a great chance after we broke ten minutes left in the game. He also was nearly in after a great ball from Robertson.

Klopp made a mistake in fielding Robbo and Firmino, both played horribly. And Mane made all the wrong decisions very single time!

That feels like a loss. We lost momentum and control with 20min to go and never got it back. Chelsea excluding the throwing themselves to floor were really solid at the back. They're a very good team.

Lacked energy. Failed to take advantage of wide positions, as Robertson tired and Mane still seems out of sorts. Trent and Salah really should have done a better job of exploiting Alonso who is quite a poor defender.

Impressed with Chelsea, they seemed more focused, won more 50-50 balls, and passed the ball more slickly than we did.
Think we might have struggled to get anything from the game if they hadn't gone down to 10 men and lost their best player Havertz.

Tsimikas should have started too. Robbo was well off it, from the defending for the corner to attacking in the second half. Epitomised when he passed it out of play.

Missed opportunity really. Wouldn't have been unhappy with a draw before the game but the sending off gave us a brilliant chance.
