Played well today against a horrible side set up to foul, spoil and waste time from the first whistle. Matip my Man of the Match, so so cool.

Good to see VVD getting there and his cross field passing has been badly, badly missed. A lot of good performances today, Jota, Salah and Tsimikas should be singled out for praise as well as Elliott. Henderson very good. May as well list the whole team!

Scored the second at just the right time. Having Virg and Matip is so much more reassuring though as they could handle those pricks two on two.

Nice glimpses from Elliott. Two good goals and could have had more. Lovely stuff.

WTF Thiago smoking on the bench - it must have been something strong to account for his nightmare of a 15 mins, looked like he had never see a ball in his life. Other than that, thought everyone had a good game - took Mane enough shots, but he has finally scored. Elliot had a cracker of a game for his first PL start.

That second was so so good. Matip MOTM for me, cut out almost everything that came near him today.

Tsimikas is an excellent little fullback. Thought Mane struggled first half but much better second half and what a goal.

Elliott is a star, sublime throughout and like I said in his thread, it's the combination of his vision and willingness to execute the passes that will see to it that he succeeds.

Alisson, what do you even say anymore, just always switched on and makes himself huge.

Jota is quality, just always on the move and such a pest for the opposition

Great performances right through the team - Elliott was outstanding, Keita, Trent, Tsimikas and Matip were brilliant.
