Muniesa the CB for Stoke...
We may sign Salah, but I'll show my arse in the middle of town if we sign one of VVD or Keita. Not gonna happen.

13mins - Bournemouth have gone home. Utd kicked off anyway. Still 0-0 as Smalling passes it back to De Gea.

HANDOVER POST

After a pretty uneventful first half it looked like Jurgen would have been saying, job done so far. That was until the linesman went into a world of his own and started to wonder what he fancied for his half time drink. When he decided it was fresh orange he'd missed the fact that Arnautovic had put the ball away after being offside.

HT 0-1 (1-1 agg).

Second half saw a bit of an improvement from the reds, but Stoke managed to contain them easily and take a bit better control of the game.  Bit of a frantic finish, but no more goals took us to extra time.

Extra time saw more bluster from the reds with no cutting edge and a couple of good chances for Stoke, but it finished 0-1 on the night to Stoke but 1-1 on aggregate and we went to pens.

There always has to be a hero or a villain and that hero on thew night is Joe Allen after his team mate Can Missed and Migs made a wonderful save.

Full Time 0-1 (1-1 agg)

Liverpool win 5-4 on pens

Exceptional save....

Most penalties saves  are misses or poor penalties... This was an amazing save

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
