We have actually played quite well. I think the only one that maybe hasn't been too great at a push is Harvey. If he is going to play sideways and backward, he does himself a disservice given the ability he has. This still is there for winning and I think with someone like Salah down the right, I think City will be stretched much more. Btw Conor Bradley looks like an absolute rolls royce in the making.

Elliott's cross for Szobo was excellent - should have resulted in a goal really.  I'm sure he's under instruction to not force it but, I agree, it does feel like there are moments where he should trust his quality a bit more.  Easy to say though from our FC24 position watching the game

Yep.  Our players, particularly Diaz, want a little too much time on the ball in those spaces.  I liked it early when he took Walker on the outside, and played in a quick cross (which picked out Darwin but was slightly behind him).  When he spends a little too long on the ball, the space closes down, and it gets very predictable.  The ball did bounce his way for his chance late in the first half, so persistence pays off, but he can be more incisive in the final third.

To be honest we’re a bit lucky to only be one down. Looks like it might be one or two injuries and unfit players too far here, but anything is possible.

If we get a goal back they’ll start to wobble. Hopefully Salah on soon and let’s go for it.

Their defence is really interesting. They always seems to have 4 or 5 at the back even when they are pressing and getting forward well. It's making it difficult for our attacking players.

Yeah we’ve pretty much improved every second half throughout the season, more compact in middle and more decisive in final third and we can score for sure.

That’s how I saw it. Tough opponents but we’ve played well and made life difficult for them. I’ve seen lots to like from our boys in the first half, lots of cause for hope. Not throwing in the towel yet. Just needs a few small tweaks here and there. We can do this.
