I think the half was pretty even, yes City had moments but so did we but we look a bit rushed and not too confident when we get into those good positions. City despite being cheating c*nts are a very good side so it isn't beneath us to say they'll dominate at times. We are right in this and I think the fact City were timewasting with an hour to go tells you everything. I think they struggle with the intensity because they don't have too many hard games.

Get the equalizer and go from there.

Don't think we've been outplayed at all - we've actually looked reasonably comfortable for a lot of the half against a team that dominates almost every other club in the world even when playing away. Caught out by a corner routine, but we've created just as many decent openings as they have, and with a bit more composure in the final third, we could've been level.

Have every chance of turning this around in the second half, especially with Salah still to come on. Just wish we were attacking the Kop in the second half instead, that would've made a difference if it was 1-1 with 5 minutes to go.

Some people really underrate Salah on here, can't remember the last time another attacker actually stood up and had a top class performance or contributions against a top side.

Just need a bit more composure when we do get in to good positions. Nunez reverting to forgetting the offside rule. Midfield has done really well particularly since the goal, we just need to calm down a little bit. Bradley has been exceptional again.

Been very impressed with the pressing as the half went on.  We smothered them in midfield so many times.  That doesn't happen to them very often.

Could have been a bit more urgent with the shooting at times.

They're threatening as always, but we're very much still in this.
