Good first half, awful second.
Fucking terrible. Credit to the way they've man marked us and pressured but we dealt with the in the first half with speed, movement and Trent not being scared to go long. This half we've done the complete opposite. Slow, no movement off the ball and five yard passes between the keeper and two centre Half's. Copy and paste from the Palace and United games. The experienced players needed to realise it wasn't working and change it on the pitch. The best teams have players who will do that, we did at our best a few years ago, too early in the rebuild for the players to have the confidence to do it.
Salah looks goosed again, I wonder if we will cash in this summer now. Jones is a fantastic player when up to speed but when he isn't his decision making and passing is glacial speed.
