I've had a few long track listens this week that have been very satisfying, uplifting even. The World Is A Ghetto by War, over 10 minutes, but not a second of fat to it

Then, I listened to something to see if another band was any good, and straight after youtube automatically played the Dave Matthews band with Warren Haynes covering Neil Young's Cortez the Killer.
https://www.youtube.com/v/aCiLCo-LoUg I hadn't listened to even a note of this lot before this came up, and I totally love that track, so this one was worth a go. It was excellent. Then a Van Morrison bootleg from 1984 and a Sun Ra gig from 1983. Also only recently heard Calexico with Iron and Wine live in a New York park exactly a year ago this weekend, a superb show. I have a few Iron & Wine lps, but this blew them out of the water, they fit together like a glove, but apparently have only worked together a few times.
