Next season;s kits.

The Home reminds me of a cheap, market knock-off that you might find being sold in Turkey or Thailand.
Like a 'LFC' shirt that's not even similar to that season's Home shirt, but gets bought anyway for the novelty value whilst on holiday, or by locals with not much cash.

The Away reminds me of the 80s shirts we had, apart from the pattern :D
I like it. But need to see the socks and shorts.

The Third reminds me of one of the other kits we had that I remember Mane, Bobby, and Mo starring in so brings back good memories. I think it was that armour/mesh kit with similar colours.

I remember reading in Mel Reddy's book that Jurgen got heavily involved in kitting the team out and wanting us to look smart. He spoke about our walk out jackets looking like shitty star wars costumes or something whilst Spurs looked slick. I wonder if he's had an input over the past few years and now that he's off we're getting that shite home kit  :D.

Hoping these are cheap knock offs because they look as bad as Warrior kits to me but they seem legit, unfortunately. What in the blue fuck is that badge.

If Klopp was that involved then he would have approved these, because kits are approved a year or so before they go into production.

If they're real then the away and third kits are sound, but the home kit is an abomination. This years, last years and the 17/18 kit were absolutely magic, but this, well, it looks cheap as fuck. I remember getting a knock off 82/83 kit for Christmas and this has those vibes. When are we binning off Nike and going back to something decent? New Balance were sound, it's a pity we didn't stick with them.

I don't even think the athletic bodies of the players can save that home kit. It's horrible.

The details are all a bit wanky, but I’ll never be close enough to one to care.
The overall shirt’s fine I think?
Just reminds me of a Brighton one a couple years back which I actually quite liked.
My overall take out is I’ll never buy one, it’ll be gone in a year, the worlds going to end and everything is shit anyway so who gives a fuck (Nike, you can have that for your strap line if you’re reading).

Actually I’ve just tried to search for the Brighton kit I’m on about and it turns out I’ve completely made that up.

The players won’t have the time will they? Or will they have done all the photos/videos well in advance and they don’t need them for any live modelling?

We're back to Adidas for 25-26 season.

Quote
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool to swap Nike for Adidas in new kit supply deal

Liverpool FC is poised to announce a new kit supplier deal with Adidas that will begin with the 2025-26 season, SportBusiness can exclusively reveal.

Following a recent tender process, Adidas is understood to have been identified as the winning bidder in a deal that would run for five seasons, from 2025-26 to 2029-30, reuniting the pair once again after a 13-year hiatus.

SportBusiness understands that incumbent Nike and rival Puma were also actively interested in the contract.

Nike has been Liverpool’s kit supplier since the 2020-21 season, with that deal only coming about after the Premier League club won a court case against then incumbent supplier New Balance, which had claimed matching rights to Nike’s bid.

Nike only pays Liverpool a base fee of £30m ($37m /€34.8m) per season, a relatively low sum for a top-tier kit deal, albeit Liverpool was thought to be attracted by the US sportswear giant’s marketing and distribution clout. In addition, royalty payments on net sales of replica sportswear are thought to push that annual figure beyond £50m per year.

New Balance had been paying Liverpool a base of £25m per year between 2015 and 2020, a period that saw the club win its first league title in 30 years and sixth European Cup.

SportBusiness understands the new Adidas-Liverpool agreement would be higher than the c. £50m paid out under the Nike contract, albeit would fall well short of the league-wide record £90m that Manchester United receives per season, also from Adidas.

Interesting, says it would be lower than United's £90 million a year. :o

We made £110 million last year with Nike.

Will hold judgement as some of the kits they've done for Arsenal have been nice.

We take a lower base rate but a higher slice of the profits. That's why we made so much money with Nike.

Quite a big loss for Nike I think.

We made the most money with Nike after Barcelona. It doesn't make sense to go on and sign up with Adidas and get a lesser contract than your biggest rival.

I wonder what Adidas is offering us in percentages, etc.?

Well we will be getting more.

New kit will probably be based on this template if it's going to be Adidas...
