Clearly not.

Put the saved £75 in a local charity and you'll have benefited the city much more than LFC coffers.

It was rhetorical. Never in a million years worth an extra £75! I actually happen to think charging £90 for a t-shirt is obscene.

I've just compared player versions of both DHgate and one from a shop. Literally no difference. In fact, Id go as far as saying the DH version is marginally higher quality when it comes to the details.

Oh, and size down for these if you prefer a closer fit, especially with the fan version.

This isn't exactly about the new kits, but I noticed while watching some highlights from our last CL Final appearance, that those NB kits were awesome.  Love the simple red and white.  Love the collars.  Classy, professional, slightly intimidating to our opponents.  Brilliant.

I've never seen a good looking or good fitting design from Nike ever.  In any sport.

How long does the Nike contract run for?
They were brilliant. These Nike kits are good but nothing beats those NB kits. Two classics in succession from 17/18 and 18/19.

I looked at the new home kit for the 1st time yesterday.  It looks much better in the flash.  Lovely rich red with white logos, no green or other spoiler colours, no razzmatazz patterns just a simple LFC football shirt. That price tag though…

first and last time putting the shirt on, i'm guessing

Just saw the stadium version in the flesh. Way, way darker than this. Verging on claret and much nicer.

For those of have gotten the kit, would you recommend getting a size smaller compared to last year?

There will probably be a time where most people can't afford them no wonder people buy the cheaper knock off ones

I do wonder how the high prices are affecting total sales, presumably Nike and the club have done the maths to show what price maximises their profits however.

If I take myself as an example, I’m well paid at just a few grand below the 40% tax band however I can’t justify buying a new shirt every year at £90. At £50 I used buy a new shirt every season for 5-a-side and going to the match but at £90 I’ll probably buy every 3 or 4 years, it doesn’t take a maths genius to work out someone with my attitude and a decent income is now spending £90 every 3 or 4 years as opposed to the £200 I was spending  every 4 years. Plenty of people worse off than me too who not only can’t justify it, they simply can’t afford it.

Can anyone link me to the correct DHGate page for the new home top, player version, please?

I've not used the site before and when looking last night there seemed to be loads of different things to click on to.  :rollseyes

I can't believe that it's not affecting sales figures.

Personally, I'd not even dream of buying one at these prices. People are struggling to put food on the table.

Quality is fucking abysmal and the swoosh and sponsor are ‘fossil’ and not white. Going in the bin & lesson learned.

Don't worry about that. I've seen two from DHgate, one a fan and the other a player, and they're both immaculate. If you try to get them early, they'll sometimes have differences. I got the home player version last year early thinking it was correct, but the knit on it was the training top version of the vapor knit. Seller offered me a discount on my next order. Really, the only issue I've had.

Messaged the club retail page about the goalkeeper kit in kids and womens sizes since the missus wants her and the baby to match.

Told that kids sizes will be available late in the summer, no word on the womens sizes yet.

I really want to see some middle-aged bloke doing a full-kit-wanker, preferably in public. One of my mates did it a few years back with an obscure european teams kit, told nobody beforehand, and had us all in bits when we all seen it. What a sacrifice for a few laughs.  ;D
