Thank you, both Pauls. From a pen 3 survivor.

Nice one to both Pauls.

It's been hugely encouraging over the years to know that more and more people have actively sought out the truth for it to be learned. Thanks for being one them. Class post mate.

Agree Jim...with every word.

Paul, and Paul, you guys are among the very best loved contributors to this site. Consistently decent, honest, funny and clever members.

I just wanted you to know that.

Thanks for the comments guys

Yeah, I'm a big softie.

Didn't saw this thread, so posted in the other one.

RIP to those 96 people who lost their lives in that tragic day. One of the biggest disasters in the history of the game. People who went to watch a game of football and never returned home. It could have been any of us, regardless of the club we support, or what nationality we are. Regardless of anything. Moments like that are the moments when you realize how irrelevant is football compared to other things. And moments like this should unite clubs (yes, even the rivals).

As tragic as that day was, it makes me sick even more the string of events awhich happened after that. I hope that one day the families of those people will get justice and closure. No-one doesn't deserve to die on a match of football, and the state not that only failed on defending it's citizens but faked evidence for more than 2 decades. The media vultures weren't any better and showed their true face on those days when in order to sell more they just made senseless disgraceful lies.

RIP!

The Apprentice host yesterday inadvertently retweeted a doctored image of Liverpool radio DJ Pete Price alongside notorious serial killer Harold Shipman, only days after being hoaxed into retweeting a picture of notorious Liverpool “bogeyman” Akinwale Arobieke.

The Scum's Twitter feed today reported Lord Sugar had 'carelessly retweeted a birthday message to vile serial killer Harold Shipman', to which the former Tottenham Hotspur chairman replied ".@TheScum Carelessly show no compassion for Hillsborough victims. Good luck to those in Liverpool who ban the paper."

He only tweeted that 'cause the Scum caught him out and he knew Hillsborough would be a sore point to easily hit back with.

2nd April I will be heading to the Sheffield United game but I'll call upon Hillsborough and tie a Grimsby Town scarf to the memorial with all the other scarves

Would it be inappropriate of me to take some pictures of the memorial? thinking of taking some pictures to show other family members but I wouldn't like to cause any offence.

So long as you're not gonna be a twat and take selfies with heavy metal horns and pokey out tongue kind of poses or star jumps then I am sure that'll be fine mate - lots of people take pics for personal posterity - it's all about the intention and the behaviour around it. The fact that you've asked in here suggests a truckload of respect anyway so I can't see it being an issue ;)

I wasn't sure where to put this, as I didn't think it was worth a thread on its own.  But apparently Arriva buses in Merseyside will be running with this tomorrow.  Deepest apologies in advance if this turns out to be some Internet hokum but I hope it happens.

27 terrible years pursuing justice -  Sleep in peace the 96. Justice will be joining the truth very soon.
There is nothing wrong with striving to win, so long as you don't set the prize above the game. There can be no dishonour in defeat nor any conceit in victory. What matters above all is that the team plays in the right spirit, with skill, courage, fair play,no favour and the result accepted without bitterness. Sir Matt Busby CBE KCSG 1909-1994

Apologies for being very late

On Friday 15th April, Hull City played Wolves and "#jft96" was displayed on the scoreboard.

On Saturday 2nd April I was in Sheffield and as I previously posted I visited the memorial at Hillsborough itself and tied a Grimsby Town (my home team ) scarf to the memorial.
