Soft close toilet seats in public toilets. It's bad enough that I have to touch them to lift them up but to have to hold it while I'm pissing is a travesty. I use the toe of my boot to lift the seats up but I can't hold them without using my hand.

A couple of twats in full twat regalia of 3 piece tweed suits and obligatory tweed caps came in the pub for "after shoot" drinks on Friday night, then had the nerve to complain about the price, so only stayed for one.

Last time one of these wankers was in the pub he was discussing the possibility of buying a 184 acre  property on the other side of the Island for £1.4m as he needed somewhere with more land for his business, rearing birds for the shoot.

Get fucked you greedy motherfucker.  £1000 a day for a shoot but £6 for a pint is too expensive 😡

Yeah this guy is one of our neighbours and they have a similar horsebox for exactly that.

Nobody that go on these shoots even want the birds they've shot, they give them away here or they just get binned.

guy I know was a cop in Toronto.  relatively new on the job, he got off shift to join his family for Christmas Dinner but suddenly got up from the table and walked out.

a few hours before getting home he'd gone to a suicide call - guy jumped off a high floor of an apartment building, got decapitated on the way down on a balcony railing - my mate was the one who found the head which had rolled under a car.  he had to crawl in and get it.

My girlfriend queued up to get in the Kop last night, just as she gets to the turnstile the two stewards stop her and tell she can't go in as she needed to be patted down by a female steward and as there were none at that turnstile she had to queue up again at the next block where there was a female steward. She asked could they walk her over to the front of the queue or get the female steward to come over to where she was but they said no she would have to queue up again.

Cheers, I'll mention it to her later and see what she says. She did say there is usually a female steward there for league games but the other night they were two "cockney c*nts"

The normal way would be for the female steward to come over, or for the male ones to swap places with her. Making your girlfriend queue again is ridiculous.

If there is a way to get the head steward to have a word with her team and clarify how they should go about that,  that'd be good.

Think it depends what you're wearing. Big down coats etc, they might think they need to check. The male stewards at my turbstyle (B) were patting down some of the lads that wanted to get in.

I'd say that's right - we also go in B and I've only ever been patted down when I had a coat on, thin jacket the other night and didn't get patted, although my lad, who's 14 and 6ft 2 had a padded coat on and wasn't checked either

Generally you can great quality 4k screens for very cheap, but where they cut costs on the cheap TVs is things like the CPU - which with Smart TVs is becoming more and more important.

Thanks, John. The look for budget cuts is unending we are going to have spend another 7 million on placements this year.    The cost of social care is horrific at the moment.
