I don't know as much about him compared to various posters on here but he seems highly rated in world football. The other day he was linked with the Chelsea job, think it's great that he is thinking long term and dedicated to Dortmund after dismissing the link.

Klopp and AVB were being mentioned in the same breath during the Summer, and I am glad he stayed put and didn't move.

I would think that for any young successful manager they would now be wary before even thinking about going to Chelsea - certainly whilst the Old Guard are still there.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they have Terry / Lampard as joint Player-Manager in the near future.

5 point lead, second consecutive Bundesliga beckons despite the Bavarian Giants better side, why would he want to leave? He's building a fucking dynasty, there's also the added bonus that they may even resign Sahin in the summer as well as Marco Reus coming in (he who decided against moving to Bayern). Lewandowski and Kagawa scoring goals. Grass is not greener at Chelsea for sure

He'll probably leave at the end of next season.

There's only so much he can do with BVB, and losing Gotze, Hummels, maybe Kagawa's gonna probably grind him down a bit, so I think he'll eventually be looking for new pastures.

Once the spine is gone he ll be goosed but signing Reus is a big step infront of Bayern. If they win the title again albeit 5 point gap is good at the moment he will stay.

Awesome against Koln the other night as well. Such an intelligent team going forward adn seem to always make the right choices for such a young team. Kagawa was immense.

Said it back when he was at Mainz, he'd be a top coach somewhere. He's benefited from having an energetic young core at Dortmund that can play his aggressive pressing style. I don't think he'll leave there any time soon, unless he's offered a ridiculous project.

The signing of Reus has shown that they are here to stay and not just become a feeder club. Didn't they reject some 40m euros offer for Gotze last summer?

There is a real chance that they can become world beaters in the upcoming seasons.

Eventually wages will fuck them over. Eventually they just won't be able to replace a quality player they've sold with similar quality.

Reus is a fantastic signing for them, a huge improvement on Lewandowski, it will be great to see Reus, Kagawa and Gotze next season. They'll definitely hold onto players if they keep on adding quality plus I'm sure that Sahin's situation has probably served as a warning to any Dortmund player leaving for a huge club.

Hope they see it that way cause I'd love for us to swoop in and grab Lewandowski. He's exactly the type of striker who could fit into our team and help us take a massive step forward. Think he's underrated.

Eh, hard to compare Serie A and La Liga teams to a Bundesliga team. Serie A was in decline for a while, and none of the Spanish teams outside of Real and Barca have been financially competitive with anyone. The Bundesliga is much more financially competitive. I think it'll be interesting to see what happens to Dortmund over time.

Do you realize that Reus is a winger/second striker and that Lewandowski is a striker? And that he’s Dortmund top scorer, only behind Gomez and Huntelaar in the bundesliga? Why would they want to replace him?

Its a shame that they didn't react to the loss of sahin sooner than they did as I could have seen them going far in the champions league this year. They're going from strength to strength and have a better striker this year in lewandowski than they did last year with barrios. Dortmunds a big club they should be challenging in europe like they once did.

They have also put us to shame with the way they have scouted some of these players like kagawa and lewandowski for dirt cheap and integrating them in a style that suits all of the players.

Genuinely don't think I've heard a bad word about him from anyone. Seems to have a great relationship with the players, fans and management and seems like a genuinely decent guy.

Yeah it took them a while to adapt to the loss of Sahin. They'd probably still be in Champions League if they had adapted sooner. I'm sure Klopp would have learned from that loss.

Think they may need a little dept in certain areas but they can develop in to one of the top teams around.

Dortmund seem to produce top players for fun.Sahin went,in comes Gundogan. Kehl got injured,Sven Bender,"the beast to Sahin the beauty" turned up.Seriously,this man is a genius.Just because of sheer intelligence and ability at this age.

Im not sure he could handle a club as big as ours in crisis at the moment,but surely destined to become one of the greatest.
