Don’t sign up for the auto cup then…
I go to the midweek League Cup / CL games but I’m just arguing for the other side that it’s not always an easy journey to do. Hence why I said ‘some’ not all.

It’s mad isn’t it. All the out of towners will still do the 100 mile round trip for a match against Derby!!  ;D

This is why they need to introduce the, if you don’t attend you don’t get the credit for the cups too

100 mile round trip is literally an hour tops each way, pretty sure there's a fair few thousand doing that for every game, me included ;D

More like 400 mile round trip for me ;D

Would prefer 100 mile round trip basically would mean I'd moved in with my mum.

Will attend all of these as don't have many league games at all.

His point still stands. Don't sign up for the auto cup if you'll struggle to go the games?

Imagine it would be a few days after the European fixture announcements.

No idea why the Derby game still hasn't been set. We play the Sunday prior and the Saturday after. It has to be the Wednesday, but for some reason ours (and Arsenal v Brighton) are still TBC. Everything else has been set.

It's not even on the ticket availability page. This happened last year with the Leicester game when they forgot to put it on the site and the moment it was mentioned on here, the ticket office put the fixture on. Hopefully that will work again.

I’d be surprised, considering the population of the city triples every time there is a “local” sale and tickets are cheap enough that people might take them just for the credit

Is there such a thing any more? I think anyone who buys a ticket needs to be registered with the club (not necessarily a member - you can register for free), but I'd be amazed if it didn't go down to that.

Stupid amount of 'spares' all over twitter / other forums. It's fine though, as the the people selling will still retain the credit for future rounds ::)

"I have to work"... yeah but you would be able to have it off if it was United/Everton etc... the same will happen with Napoli if we avoid defeat tomorrow...

Indeed. I didn't buy Ajax (h) as I had to work, so probably off the ladder now.

haha yeah, but the club let us get away with it

I'll be skipping derby and if we get a point tomorrow skipping napoli, because the system allows us

Probs be £100 for both games with fuel and food, rather save it towards the bulk sale in november

Napoli isn’t a dead rubber though? Still need to top the group.

Don’t blame people for skipping derby but when it comes to a final and people miss out in ballots there’s uproar.

Should do a system where you miss a cup game you retain the purchase credit. However to be eligible for the final you actually went the game.

I said this last season about finals - got all mine in ballots luckly and i did attend them all, but bought my own gaff in april so can't afford 60 games a year now

Whilst they let us do it, i may as well

Hmm, if we only get a point in Ajax will be dead rubber... Even if we win we have to turn around Napoli's GD too.

See I don’t think you should be punished to lose credits especially cup games if it’s a one off.
But surely as a result you shouldn’t be eligible for finals.

And agree with you, if it benefits you then do it

Beat Napoli 3-0 we top the group due to away goals.

That’s if we win tomorrow like

Hope so. Went to every Fa Cup and League Cup game last season under my own name, however I don't have 2019 Arsenal so not l eligible. Annoying, but it is what it is.

Why is everything they do this season so painfully slow?

Why did they not announce details of a further sale following the ‘with Arsenal’ one on the initial selling notice?

And it’s now over 24 hours since that sale began, with so many tickets left but no one without the Arsenal credit can buy one! So frustrating.

Looking at how many tickets are left, I still don’t think this will go past the local general sale. Unless they’re planning on having a members sale first and didn’t tell us.

Cheap tickets and an opportunity to get on the ladder, there’ll be loads of interest. Especially when so many people are lying about their postcodes.

It’ll be like tonight, sold out on the website, but hundreds of spares flying around…

I have been offered two for this but would rather wait and see if they go on sale to members or not go at all because I'm sick of people buying tickets for credits when they have no intention of going.

Will 100% go to all members. Autocup dropped down to all members so you'd presume most people with the Arsenal credit will already be boxed via that

Unlucky, but if we'd drawn Everton or United there wouldn't be as many in those spots, I think I'd still rather have the ticket guaranteed than roll the dice.

I'll wait for tomorrow and chance my luck in the members sale. Not even bothered about credit building and the like, just fancy a night match under the lights in midweek, very rare I'm available to go due to work!
